Nice cleaner!
I had never really cleaned my bike chain until I got this since I don’t want to store a bunch of chemicals for this kind of thing. I feel at ease though having this because it is made from organic material that reminds of me goo gone. It cleans your chain pretty well and works great if accompanied by their chain lube!

Light Muc-Off
Cleans light dirt and dust okay. If caked on mud and muck is packed into the chain it doesn’t work so well. The kit is nice and convenient for in between maintenance, just know that elbow grease is sometimes needed for the real dirty stuff.

Great tool to keep your chain in tip top shape
I use this chain cleaning tool after any long or dusty rides with my bike (which is frequent). The process is simple and the muc-off fluid can be purchased in large containers. Just keep the small bottle applicator that comes with the chain cleaner tool to make filling easier. My process is to wash the bike, degrease the chain with this chain cleaner, dry the chain with a towel or old shirt, and then reapplication of chain lube once the chain is fully dry. Tip: Be careful not to get water in the top portion where you add the degreasing liquid. The water will react with the chemicals.

Seems significantly better than the PT equivalent
I have had 3 of the PT versions of this over time. They all seem to fail & break pretty easily. The also have parts that run down quickly, like sponges, and take a ton of solvent. This one seems to be made far better, uses less solvent, and the results were impressive. I have only cleaned one chain with it so far, but was very impressed with the process & quality!

Dirty chain no more.
I got tired of clean my chain and not getting all the grit out. This gets all the oil and grit out. Can tell it works when the cleaner changes from yellow to a nasty black liquid after just a couple revolutions of the crank.

Almost no mess as compared to old style chain cleaners
I've used chain cleaning tools for decades. Most throw dirty solvent all over the place and let it drop down on the rims and anything else underneath the cleaning tool. I've used MucOff degreaser and wash for years, and when my old tool broke, I decided to switch to this one. I immediately noticed how much cleaner operating this tool is to most other brands. No drips or spray of black fluid. Almost everything stays inside the tool to be dumped out later. Very please with the operation of this chain cleaner.

Fabulous machine, absolutely brilliant.
The Muc-Off X3 chain cleaning machine... WOW!!! I was a little worried that this would be a bit disappointing, but having watched the GCN YouTube video on how to clean your bike in 30 minutes I took the plunge and bought one. I'm now wondering why I didn't do this sooner. The only issue I have found is that you have to keep the machine absolutely straight and level otherwise the chain will either jam in the machine, or will skip off the chain wheel... I guess this is true for any make of chain cleaning machine though. 100% recommend this product. Unbelievable results. Just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.
