Ivilon Square Designed Style Window Side Curtain Rod, 1 1/8 inch Diameter. 16 to 28 Inch - Ivory/White

I installed these curtain rods about 2 months ago and I am in love with them. They are sturdy enough to hold up my heavy blackout curtains that weight about 16 lbs, and they also look very elegant.I was looking for a white curtain rod that could span my balcony door and windows, so the 144 inch rod was perfect. The length is adjustable even after installation, and it came with 2 extra brackets (4 brackets total) to lend some support in the center.The installation of the rod was fairly straightforward, but just a warning that the shape and angle of the brackets might require you to use a 90 degree screwdriver.The only downside of these curtain rods is that they scratch easily and the metal piece of my curtain hoops has made marks along the rod. Fortunately the marks are light enough that they aren't noticeable unless someone looks closely. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

I love the way these curtain rods look. They have a nice gloss to them and they are clean looking, not too fussy. I had not realized these are slightly over 1” in diameter so, although the rods fit perfectly into the grommets, they don’t slide quite as easily as my 1” rods. The extra size gives more strength and I didn’t need a center support. My windows are 72” and I bought the longer curtain rods so they are doubled up, which makes them quite sturdy.

this is a very nice curtain rod, very solid and strong, did not need the center bracket for my sliding glass door. quality hardware and installation directions all present in box. end caps look great. my only concern is that my black out drapes with grommets are scratching the white rod, am thinking of using some ski wax on it to help prevent continued scratches, but haven't tried it yet. shipping carton excellent and the original box came in another amazon box so was well protected. thank you for that.

I hung these in an archway connecting the family room to the kitchen/dining room/family room to block light spill from the living room when we want to watch the big screen TV.It works great. I didn't think white curtains would work but the do have a black layer on the back side. Fortunately someone posted pictures showing that light wouldn't go through them so that convince me.I did put two panels on the rod. I'm only using about 60 inches of rod to cover the opening. I used only two brackets as we want to be able to completely open the curtains and they can both slide to the side of the refrigerator and be totally out of the way.I didn't have studs to mount the brackets to. I did use the included hardware. You have to hammer the plastic anchors flat or the brackets won't mount securely to the wall. Just undersize the hole and take it easy threading in the screws and the anchors won't spin. They tightened down just fine when I put the brackets on. I didn't even use those screws for tightening the rod to the brackets.The curtains I used are these: NICETOWN 100% Blackout Window Curtain Panels, Heat and Full Light Blocking Drapes with Black Liner for Nursery, 84 inches Drop Thermal Insulated Draperies (White, 2 Pieces, 52 inches Wide Each Panel)A very nice looking rod with heavy, square end pieces that thread on to the rod. I couldn't find any rods other than this one, with this length and were thick enough to work with the eyelets on the curtains.

This curtain rod is great, especially for the price. I didn't want a thin, flimsy rod because the curtains I chose are fairly heavy. My husband installed it pretty easily but he did use his own tapcon screws for extra security. I will paint his screws white to blend.

While the curtain rod appears to be of good quality, the screws will not fit inside the brackets. From what I can tell, the paint has covered up the groves needed for the screw to catch. The rod and brackets aren't a tight fit, so anytime we open/close the curtains the whole rod slides. This is a safety concern in our son's room where we need functional, secure curtains. What's more, when my wife contacted Amazon customer service about the issue, they said they were unable to send replacement hardware, something that Wayfair has happily agreed to when we've had an issue with their products in the past. Perhaps we received a defective rod by mistake, but I'd recommend ordering this from somewhere else with easier/better returns if you plan to use this rod with curtains that need to be opened and closed.

These look fantastic. The only thing I would mention is that the metal grommets of the curtains do scratch up the white paint on the rod. So far not noticeable when standing on the floor. I could see it when I was on the ladder and hanging the curtains.

Perfect length for no center bar. The directions were good, but you have to angle the screws that hold the pole in place and that is NOT in the directions. I only learned this in another review. I remembered but not before my frustrated husband had spent 2 hours trying to fit the screw in front wise and it would not screw in. When I arrived home I remember the reviewer and what they had said and it went in perfectly at an "angle". So beware if you buy this pole, remember this tip about the screw that hold the bar in place. Beautiful bar and we are happy with the 86"-144" pole.

The curtain rod is perfect for my bedroom window! It was delivered faster than anticipated!😊
