Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet | Adult Dry Dog Food with Healthy Grains | Protein Options Include Salmon, Duck, Lamb, Beef, or Chicken

I don't normally write reviews unless I really like something, and I have no idea how this stuff tastes.. butOur lab showed sensitivity to a lot of proteins and it took us a number of foods before we found one that seemed to work (a different highly rated fish-based food). Protein issues aside, she seemed to be in very good health and we thought the food was great. In the meantime, she had some other health issues. Frequent mucus build up in the corner of her eyes, sensitive skin, and she would spit up a small amount of water once or twice a day (a couple of tablespoons usually). She would much less often, spit up a lot more water. It was always just water though, not food, and not more than one time quickly, not like vomiting. This later issue got us taking her to see the vet. They concluded it was likely stomach acid-related and recommended we give her a little food extra before bed and maybe an antacid. This seemed to lessen the occurrence, but it never fully went away.Now just after turning 2, we went on a vacation she couldn't go on and left her with a relative. Just before leaving we were unable to get her normal food and were forced to find an alternative to get her through the vacation (the food from this review). It was also fished based and we wanted to see if adding grain back in might change anything for the positive. Getting back from the trip, the relative reported very few water regurgitation issues. We thought she was being nice so we didn't feel bad. Shortly after we were able to get her old food back and mixed the two to transition her back to it. Her water issue seemed to be more common again. We hadn't been back long though, so we didn't think anything of it. This time though, she seemed to have the issue almost any time she got up from lying down. Putting 2 and 2 together I concluded maybe the food was the issue. After stopping all other treats and switching to 100% the new food, the water issues went away.now a few months later she is back to getting her normal treats and is just eating the new food. I can't recall the last time she spit up water, I want to say it hasn't happened at all. In addition, her eye mucus issue is gone. She gets some on occasion, but at a level I would consider normal for any dog. I wish we had thought of this before now, it would have been great. needless to say, this is the food we use now and I couldn't imagine ever changing it. Her energy and attitude are unchanged and she is doing great.

I have a very finicky dog who will only eat this particular flavor of feed. I have tried the other flavors in this brand and he will not eat them. This is very expensive dog feed, smells like fish that has gone off, but keeps well and is liked by my Labrador Retriever. If Buddy didn't like this feed, I would get something else. However, I believe in treating my dog as a member of our family, so his likes and dislike do not go unnoticed. If you have a dog that is picky about his dry feed, try this one. Be warned...your dog might just like it!

I have a dog with allergies to chicken and corn and he does great on this food. BUT, it keeps getting more and more expensive and harder to find.

My dog had been on grain free but started having ear and skin issues. After a little research I tried this food. Ears and skin have cleared up nicely!! So glad!!!...and so is she!!

Our dogs scarf it down without issues. Good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. We have had great success with Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet dog food for years. It is sometimes hard to find, seems to be sold out a lot.

My dog gets rashes and diarrhea from certain foods/ proteins. This has been the best for him. It keeps stool normal, no rashes and his coat nice. I am frustrated that the price has been going up and harder to find.

My dogs love this food after I have tried different kinds- including fresh dog food. I like the small nuggets since they are small adult dogs . I would recommend this food!

I’ve fed this food to my Bulldogs for over five years and it keeps their coat looking nice and shiny; I believe it also helps eliminating skin issues! Strongly recommended if your bulldog has gas problems!

I am very happy with the Natural Balance dog food, our Doberman has allergies to chicken so it makes it hard to find a good food without all the chicken and other additives that are not needed. Buying at amazon with prime shipping free, I save money and receive my food within two days to my door. This would be very helpful for people that are not able to get out a lot.

Item describes 14 pound bag. It is not! It is only 12 pounds. Where are the other 2 pounds? Also, it is "small bites" not normal sized bites.
