It should produce streams of tiny bubbles, evenly distributed all over the stone, but this one only gives you a few streams of bubbles that are larger than they should be (see video for side-by-side comparison with a properly functioning CO2 diffuser).“You get what you pay for,” strikes again, I’m afraid.

I think it is aesthetically pleasing and it has 2 functions, diffuser and bubble counter. It worked great until it got covered with algae. It didn't come with instructions so I scrapped the algae off. The scraping made the bubbles bigger and ruined its functionality. It needs either instructions on how to remove the algae or a way to replace the disk.

There is not enough room from the end of the spiral tube to the stone for bubbles to form and be counted. So it is impossible to reliably count any type of bubbles for CO2 measuring. The diffuser works OK, but large bubbles form at the edges, which is again not ideal for a CO2 setup. My recommendation, buy a better diffuser and independent bubble counter.

First shipment arrived broken, Amazon made it right and dropped another one off two days later. I like that I can see the CO2 bubbles go round and round.

I had 3 of these and 2 of them are broken, it's simply from poor glass quality and fitment issue with how they construct them. I went with acrylic version for more money and have been running strong for over a year now with zero issues.
