After reading prior reviews I move forward with reading it even though I am not currently nor do I have plans to be an expat. I do, however, appreciate a good deal and and planning for some frequent travel as soon as possible. The book gave great suggestions to increase safety, security, prevention and mitigate any of those pesky ineveitabilities (illness, injury, loss or damage of important documents, irritating exchange issues, etc.). I'm the type of person that appreciates new info, reminders, annectdotes, and practical tips including reference resources I've not been aware of. If any or all of these sound like you, go for it!

I'm in the USA and Have traveled to a few countries and it's gone well. However, I've caught the travel bug and have to have more. I have the ability to move overseas or stay extended time so why not!? These tips will do me a world of good. I'm going to give this book to my son who is planning to travel and work overseas also. Tysm.

It's a great book, type of a complete guide for travelers. From tips little tips and hacks to a lots of big ones.From scanning your itenerary when traveling in case your cellphone battery dies and can't charge to not to drink from bathroom cups at the 3 stars hotel and much more!It's a must read for professionals, individuals, families and all types of travelers. I got alot of value out of this book because I travel alot and I speak 9 different languages (because of my traveling). I highly recommend this book to everyone who likes to travel often.

This book has me raring to go! I always thought I couldn't afford to travel the world, but with all the tips in Budget Travelers I've changed my mind. I found that even the tips for Expats and those relocating for their jobs had nuggets for me that will save me money and embarrassment. It never occurred to me that the best phrase to learn in another language was "I'm sorry." Or that the hotels and airlines had hidden perks they could give me. I am so excited for the world to reopen!! I highly recommend this book for all travelers.

If you are a traveler I would recommend this book, you will find many tips that can make your traveling easier an lower your expenses. They might not always be possible, but are worth trying, if you are willing to put the time and effort into it.

Like any person I am looking to save as much money as I can when traveling. Budget travelers has a wealth of easy-to-apply tactics to saving on airfare, hotels, and more. The book covers traveling for the vacationer, expat, and digital nomads. While I am neither of the last two that doesn't mean I didn't learn some nifty tricks if I ever find myself in either of those categories. If you're looking to enhance your traveling experience and maximize your budget, you're going to want to read this book first.

Although there are a few odds-and-ends of semi-use within this book, they are buried beneath extremely poor editing of both narrative and topic (chapter) layout. I was hard pressed to read it cover to cover due to this issues. I was looking for a reference book that contained quick tips--honestly, this isn't it. I picked up three tips over the course of 122 pages. Calling this an "Ultimate Guide" is really misleading. The only saving grace is that it is 10 bucks. I hate to leave such a "negative review," but expectations should be curbed when purchasing this book.

I thought I would know most of these tips and tricks but I was wrong. I learned A WHOLE LOT reading this and plan on implementing a few here and there once travel restrictions are lifted. A girl can plan. This is a great way to get started. This book will pay for itself. It would be silly not to buy it!

Great guide full of useful hints and tips

If you never traveled before, you will probably find things to think about. I would urge you to do just that; think. These aren't the best tips, and some are completely goofy, but it might open your eyes to things you shouldn't completely ignore.If you have extensive international travel experience, you will probably be shaking your head at the authors rather naive and amateurish advice. His only real talent is writing a title that attracts suckers. That's marketing for you!

Many interesting tips on travelling dos and don'ts. I enjoyed reading it and bought one for a friend who travels a lot.

Very very helpful and a must read if you areplanning to be a digital nomad.
