I bought a set of these towels for my mom last year in dark gray with white, shiny embroidery. She is in assisted living and hates the "bibs" they give them to use at meals. So, I found these towels and had her initial put on them so they wouldn't get lost in the laundry or in her room (she has poor eyesight). She loves them! She is very classy and the quality and size of the letters are perfect for her. They protect her from spilled food when she eats. They are the perfect size, going from under her chin onto her lap. I bought dental bib chains in various colors to hold the towel with. They really work well. I bought these in navy with white embroidery so that she has plenty on hand.

These towels are very nice. The towel is of a good quality thickness and I got the grey with the silver monogram S on them they look very regal in my bathroom on the towel bar. Good quality for the price.

These towels are very great quality! Super thick and absorbent. I have washed them and they wash well. I got them for my half bath.

After first wash, the lettering really crumpled up and to be honest, I do not have the time or patience to iron it every time I wash it. I am still using them in my bathroom currently, but if that is something that is going to bother you greatly, I would stay clear. Otherwise, they're soft enough as a hand towel and look fine in our bathroom.
