Well made, easy to assemble and fits in trunk. Wide seat for heavy folks. Easy to roll on hard floors. On plush rugs significant effort required. Would be nice to have wider tread to not sink in rug and reduce pushing effort.

We purchased this for my dad to use on a cruise while he was waiting for knee surgery, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. Great chair. Sturdy and easy to use. Collapses down to a good size. Very helpful with transferring my elderly mother to her shower chair.

My husband has had surgery and an injury that has made it very difficult for him to walk. I borrowed a regular wheelchair which was great, but I couldn't lift it and it was almost impossible to fit in our small SUV. This chair from Amazon is perfect. The handles for pushing easily fold down and the chair compacts just by pulling up on two straps. It is light enough that I can pretty easily lift it and it fits in the back of our car. Unlike a "regular" wheelchair, this one doesn't have the big wheels, so can't be propelled by the person seated in it, so that's something to consider, depending on your needs.

This chair is easy to push, comfortable to sit in appears to be fairly good quality. It folds easily and transports like a dream. I would recommend separately purchasing a cushion.

This is the second one we purchased. The first one we sent back because the seat was just too small. I'm of aging years and fixing to have some knee surgery. I had a very old transport wheelchair from my Mom's days but gave it away to someone in need. I decided to get a new one so I would have it available for me or my husband if we needed it. This is my second one and it didn't cost much more but has a larger seat. However, when we put it together we found this model to be very sturdy for just a few dollars more than the basic model. It is well made, easy to put together and small enough that this can be put in the trunk easily. The basic model was lighter; BUT you would need to be assured the smaller seat would fit.

This was/is a perfect wheelchair for my elderly mother in law who suffered a stroke. My wife is usually the one with her when transporting her is needed, and she's a smaller woman...but the wheelchair is easy for her to handle...lightweight, folds easily, and is very solid/sturdy. This really is a great wheelchair. Not bulky/clumbsy. Comfortable. We did add an extra pad to put on the seat, which helps, but you don't really need to get one. We just went the extra step for our mom/comfort. But, yes...a great wheelchair. No regrets buying this item.

The listing for this wheelchair said the seat width was 19 inches and seat depth was 16 inches. The chair I received had a seat width of only 17 inches and a seat depth of 15.5 inches. I ordered this in the Open Box since it was an option. I'm wondering if this chair was placed in the wrong box. I'll be sending it back and reordering it but not in the open box option. The chair does look solid. It's lightweight and manuevers well.
