Super lightweight (I chose it for that as I have a bad neck and every gram counts on my noggin), MIPS, well made, nice strap, looks good. Only one CON, which is the tightener for the back snugger. Hard to use and not very good. Would consider redesign of that part. But still recommend and wear every second I am on the bike.

Got into an accident, this helmet saved my life. Or at least saved me from a head injury. Ended up going over the front bars, all you can see are some scrapes but my head bounced off the concrete before the slide. Contacted laser and they gave me a discount on a replacement. I’m just now healed up enough to get back out on the bike.

I used the fit guide to ensure the proper sizing. The size medium fit perfectly. The helmet is lightweight and aerodynamic.

Helmets are a strange thing to buy. Everybody's got a different size and shape head. What may be comfortable to me may not be to you and vice versa. I have a POC helmet that I really like but it's old. I'm between sizes with the Bontrager helmet. Depending upon whose research you view, this helmet and a certain Specialized helmet, all right up there with the safest helmets. I find one thing odd and that is the adjustment is on the top of the helmet as opposed to the back. I admit I questioned this. Depending upon how you fall oh, if the top of the helmet gets scraped a certain way oh, it could loosen up the helmet on your head. It is however a personal decision and fit is the most important thing. Either buy one that you already know, if you're buying online, or be prepared to have to return a couple of helmets until you find the right one.

I have trouble getting helmets to fit, but this helmet has an elongated configuration. It fits my elongated head perfectly. Ever since hard hats came out, they’ve been made for round heads, this helmet is nice!

Although not inexpensive I do not believe cost should be the biggest issue while trying to protect our most valuable organ. So may people try to save money on helmets, or don't use them at all. After spending many years working in the ICU I know first hand the value of a good helmet. Had I not been wearing one when I crashed and hit my head breaking my helmet 12 years ago I do not believe I would be fully functioning today

My new lazer G1 helmet arrived a month ago to prepare for spring riding. I’d have never thought that on February 9th that I’d be able to get out for a 40 miler (upstate New York near Syracuse).The helmet fits great with terrific airflow, good styling and most importantly super rating (number 12 out of 223 helmets rated) by the Virginia Tech helmet ratings list.
