50-Foot 8/3 NEMA 6-50 Lighted Welding Machine Cord - Your Name on Cord

Excellent Product and great value. While searching for a 50 ft. cable to extend my welding range, I came across nothing priced as low as this product. But quality is NOT an issue here. This cable has run my Hypertherm Powermax Air 30 plasma cutter and Miller 211, so ~30 amps with no cord heating. The plugs are solid, the cable durable, and the printing text on the cable for free was a bonus.PROS: Well built 6-50 plug and receptacle. Not solid plastic rubber you can drop from a high rise, but you can drop them. Comes with a plug-pull assist which is VERY handy. The running lights are nice and even useful at dusk, looking for the end of the cable. I really liked I could put "property of" on my cable. That was a bonus.CONS: None that I've found.Because of the quality and fast shipping, I'd buy from Milspec Direct again.

This looked perfect for my garage and it turned out to work very well. The cord appears to be high quality and the plugs have fit well in both the wall socket and welder ends. It has run my 250 MIG machine without any indication of getting warm, although I've not welded anything at the high end of my welders output yet with it.This cord gives me a lot of room to extend my welder out into the driveway to work on vehicles, so far I doubt I've used half it's length, but better to have more than you need than not enough. I leave it plugged into the 220 wall outlet, and the lighted ends are a handy reminder to hit the main welding circuit breaker before I start welding and turn it off when I'm done.

This cord cost almost as much as my Lincoln tombstone welder. But it does the job well. I can't detect any loss of current and the length gives me the freedom I need to move. I like the lights that indicate current is on. Another reviewer alerted me to the potential fragility of the hanging loop on the end. So I've been careful with that and therefore haven't had a problem with that. But I'm thankful I was forewarned to be careful with it.

I priced out this similar cable at Graingers, and a local electrical supply house. To my suprise it would have cost over 250.00 dollars, this is a great find, provides capacity to run your welder at 100 % . Quality appears ok , it is UL listed flexible ,and has lighted plugs. I looked at many options , this is the best cable you will find to run any Hobart , ect 225 amp welder . 8 gauge wire will not get hot and is rated for any welder that is sold at Tractor supply Medium duty welders on the market . Buy with confidence nice cable three conductor white, black and ground. Remember this would be for 220 VOLTS single phase, 50 AMPS power requirements NOT 110 VOLTS buzz boxes. Remember to watch your puddle , HAPPY WELDING ; )

Very heavy duty, Led light and easy to plug/ pull out. I started with a shop made 10g cord and plugs I wired up but upgraded to this and am very happy, I have no worries if they cord can take the load I put on it and the ends are made much better then the plugs I got and wired up and you can get your name on it.

good price on a cord extra bonus is it comes with your name printed on it. Have used this cord in a commercial shop for 2 years and have had no issues.

Very Good Quality Cord that works like a champ.

Works great and I didn't have to make it myself. Plus, I had them print my name and "Don't steal" on the side so that it doesn't walk off.
