Maybe the best EDC light available. Plenty of brightness and run time.
I have only had the light for a day so I can't speak for durability, but I can say it is a great light. I got it for an EDC light and it is perfect for that purpose. Other small lights that use a AA battery only have about an hour of run time. This one has 3.5 hours of run time at the 100 lumen setting which is plenty of light. I live in Atlanta and have been stuck along the side of the interstate 3 times in the last 3 years after never having that happen before. Twice was with low tire pressure warnings in my car. So I pulled off to check the tires and didn't have a light (it was early morning before sunrise). I really needed a headlamp in order to operate the tire gauge without holding the light in the other hand. This light will clip to a ball cap and allow it to be used as a headlamp. I keep a ball cap with me so that is a huge plus.I compared it to my Fenix UC35 which is a bigger, more powerful light and it compares favorably. The Fenix has just over 9 hours of run time at 180 lumens which is awesome. But it is 6 inches long and this light is less than 3. So the Fenix will be my main light when going hunting and will be in my pack when hiking and such. The Olight will be in my front pocket though and will get quite a bit of EDC use. It is surprising how many times you could use a light if you had one and now I will have one with me.I do want to add one caveat though and that is the charger. It takes a proprietary charger base which you will need to have with you when you travel or use a regular battery charger or carry spare batteries (and this one comes with 2 batteries). My Fenix has a built in charging circuit and takes a regular micro USB cable which almost everything else uses these days. I would guess that the Olight would be longer if it had the same kind of charging circuit and USB connection and might hinder its use as an EDC light. I guess the perfect light would be this light with a regular USB charging connection built in and not much longer in size. But that is a relatively minor complaint as I will have the extra rechargeable battery in my pack and regular lithium batteries as well for their shelf life.

Amazing Flashlight! Compact, powerful, lots of features!
I fell in love with it at first sight, I didn't imagine such small product could unleash that power. I carried it with me everyday everywhere and it was always handy.I work at a construction site and everybody liked this beast.. The best part was the magnet clip in which I used it to hang the light on a scaffold or on a metallic door and it would lie there while I do my job. I used it for about a year with perfect functionality and long battery life. However, I once dropped it from around 30cm height above the ground while checking the bottom of an equipment, and it just died. I live outside US and there was no way to take it to a maintenance center. I felt very bad, I want another one again but to pay 75$ knowing that what happened might happen again, I don't think so...3 stars because specifications mentioned that drop test was 1.5 meters while it just got damaged after a 10 inch drop.

I love this tiny rechargeable light!
Title pretty much says it all, this tiny light is amazing, I have two other lights that are my primary use lights (Fenix LD22 and Fenix E05). Because the LD22 is a two AA powered light it's quite long and uncomfortable in my pocket. Got this s10r about 2 weeks ago after watching reviews. It has replaced my LD22, I even bring it to work with me. I'm a cable installer. Now because it's got a magnet I was worried about my phones memory getting erased, but I've researched that modern memory storage in phones aren't affected by magnets. My pant pocket setup is my wallet and notepad is in my left pocket. While my phone and keys are in my right pocket with the light hanging on my right pocket rim with the light outside the pocket ( just makes it easier to pull out my keys or phone). The pocket clip is deep and holds onto the light and pocket really tightly. In the pictures I used a cotton swab and quarter for size reference. The diameter of the light is equal to the quarter.

Great EDC light, perfect balance of large enough to use, but small enough to carry all day
This light has earned a place as my EDC light. It is very bright, usually I use flashlights on the highest setting, but on this one I am using it on the medium setting. I am very impressed with the light output for the compact size of this. I was worried it would be a little thick and cumbersome in my pocket to carry around all day, but it is actually a great size (I upgraded from a pen light). The battery life is very good (it depends, of course, on the brightness you use it at), and I don't need to charge it very often. I love being able to just throw it on the charger for the night, there is a magnet in the base to attract it an line it up, so you don't have to be all that accurate. I have been very impressed with the Olight rechargeable batteries in a variety of uses, and these were no exception.

Magnetic Charger?
I’ve had this light for about a year. It’s my EDC and work light. I’m an aircraft mechanic who works nights so it gets used a lot. It’s been dropped a few times and is still functioning perfectly. My ONLY issue is the magnetic charger. It stopped charging the flashlight after about 4 months. At first I thought it was the batteries, but after buying a decent charger I found out the magnetic charger was bad, not the batteries. I also own the Olight S30R baton iii also a great light. With the S30 R I have not used the magnetic charger at all. With both lights I just rotate in fresh batteries. Will purchase an Olight R50 Pro Seeker LE in the near future. Only giving 4 stars due to lack of confidence in the magnetic charger.

Great little light, better customer service
This small light has a great output. This was a gift to my father who is a firefighter. I have the S30r II and wanted to get him something that could be used at home and on the fireground. The light performs admirably in both roles. What made olight stand out as a company was the service. He ran into a charging issue where the light wouldn't hold a charge and there seemed to be a problem with the contacts on the battery. We emailed olight and they responded same day with a fix that did not require us to send the light in for service.
