Don’t believe when it says compatible with ps5
It’s a good hard drive but it is not compatible with the ps5 you can only download and play ps4 games on it . If you move your ps5 games to the hard drive it will tell you , you can only play it if it’s downloaded on the console

It works great! Only thing is that I can’t save ps5 games which is what I bought it for! Can only save ps4 versions of games

I like this external drive
I like it. This extetnal drive advertised itself as PS4 friendly. It claims to support 3.2 USB. To my surprise, the PS4 seemed to think the drive did not meet all the requirements for use. I got the PS4 to format, but not to accept the drive for storage. I plugged the drive into my laptop, formatted it there, and then plugged it back into the PS4 - it's now working, although, it's taking 30 mins to move 6 games from internal storage to this new external drive.I also like that this drive is rugged - comes with a strip of rubber around the edges.

Great value, great price! Simple to use!
Purchased this as a means to export my gaming videos from my PS4PRO to my desktop for editing. It linked up no problem after formatting it. I was using it as an external hard drive for my desktop as well, but ended up purchasing the 4TB one for that. Both work excellent with ZERO issues! Great product at a great price!

Great for the price
Product works well. Doesn't come with the right formatting for game storage on the console (Xbox One in my case), but it only takes about 3 seconds to format it and it is done upon connecting the drive to the console by the push of a button (very easy).It is a 5400 RPM HDD, so the speed is as you would expect from such a drive, which might increase slightly the loading time of the games that are on it compared to the original internal drive of the console, but nothing terrible.All in all, great device for the price.

Would recommend
Had this for awhile now and it’s working well, holds a lot of storage and works for either the ps4 or ps5. Would recommend to buy.
