The dimensions can't be correct. 5.5 x 0.2 x 4.8 inches? in the first place, being a cylinder it should have only 2 dimensions like 4" long by 1" dia

Amazon -- sadly -- has MULTIPLE sizes that sellers can/should enter and it can be confusing at times. The dimension given indicates that some seller has not read their instructions. That is the (incorrect) size of the PACKAGE and not the bar itself. It comes in a sealed package so I had to go to the Ernie Ball website to verify the size. They say: "Size: 3-1/4" x 7/8" (8.26 x 2.22 cm) Red dot - Heavy (7.8oz) "which is actually correct in the bullet points which you might not be able to see if you are shopping using a "smart" device which is sometimes an oxymoron like "jumbo shrimp" when used for browsing the net. Not all things are visible using them!
