MAGICAL!!!!
Sylvania: I was super worried about ordering this speaker, but went out on an extra long limb and even ordered it in its AMAZING purple color. I pulled this speaker out of the box and was instantly love struck, completely breathless. You know that feeling you get before you kiss someone? That magnetic feeling? This is so close to being the same thing. The purple appears a tad, only a tad, darker than the picture, and it looks like it has that awesome gentle glitter factor. Magical, right? Well buckle up, cuz it gets so much better. I plugged beautiful Sylvania in and turned it on, welcomed by a very loud brit woman (might want to turn it down before you turn on, I seriously jumped out of my skin), Sylvania sounded nice so far. But before I get to sound: OH MY LORDY THE BLUE LIGHT IN THE SPEAKER is soooo magical, 10 out of 10 recommend for magic and beauty. Now the sound, first I played some soft 60s music, wonderful, the quality for this was good so far. Then I tried rock, again pleased. Then I played Get Ugly... WOW. Yes. I got the song because it was catchy, but with this speaker I enjoy it so much more. The BASS ohhh the BASS. It can't be explained, I can't explain... I can't tell you how amazing this speaker is. I just promise it's worth the money! I'll be hosting many small parties, and buying another one of these when this one kicks it.

Buy at your own will
Just got this speaker the sound is good, idk about the battery life right now, and the bluetooth sucks it stop working after an hour of play and it keeps on cutting off when you try to reconnect it. Also when you change the working mode to use the black cord that came with it and it still cut off. I'm returning this back it's trash

Sylvania SP 328 speaker - Like it
I received the speaker 6 days after ordering. The speaker received Bluetooth signals but didn't sound. I contacted the seller and got the RMA info on the next day. Before returning the speaker, I opened up the cover and re-attached the speaker wires. Voila, the sound came on. Looks like the wires were loosen during shipping. The bass is a little weak but is good enough for outdoor listening. It's loud too. I'll take this speaker with me when I go fishing. Adding some music to the beers while waiting for fish to bite is heaven. For $25, not bad.

Great price!
I bought this for my son and he loves it! I almost want to buy one for myself. He brings it in the car and it's loud for it to be the size that it is! Great for outdoor events.

Great idea. Sound quality is sorely lacking.
I just got these to replace an old set of CA desk speakers I’ve had for a few years. The SP328 is cute for what it's worth, and the Bluetooth pairing worked perfectly right away. However the sound quality on the SP328 is definitely underwhelming and not what I’d hoped for. The overall volume seems OK, particularly for something that can run on batteries. But the bass is the really lacking, to the point that I would definitely not buy these again. It’ particularly quiet and has a steep drop off at low frequencies. It also gets really muddy depending on what you are listening to. I looked at reviews and they seem pretty mixed, particularly on bass and sound quality. I’m guessing it really depends on what you are listening to. I’ve been cycling through my amazon music collection and I see a drastic difference between different styles of music. Listening to some good old classic rock like AC/CD, Rancid, Dead Kennedy’s or the Beatles sounds fine. If that’s your jam you’re probably good and may not notice the deficiencies. I start noticing the frequency drop off pretty heavily after that, with music that I’d consider to have mid-ranged requirements. Basic stuff like Adelle, Depeche Mode, Lorde start sounding pretty bad. It’s the same with more fast paced guitar oriented music I tried like Otep, In This Moment, and Babymetal. There’s just not nearly enough low end there, and when it does try to peek through it starts sounding muddy. I saw the same with the little bit of country I have too, with Kacey Musgraves I can’t hear the low end at all. When you get to stuff that relies heavily on bass and a generally good frequency range, like Halsey, Korn, or anything that might fall into the dance or club genres, it gets laughable. It’s actually difficult to listen to without cringing and it’s reminding me of some of the cheap old tape deck boom boxes I had when I was a child, but not in a nice nostalgic way. At least back then music was somewhat engineered to sound at least OK on low end systems. Anyway, I can understand why the responses vary so much. I really think it depends on what you listen to and of course your expectations. If you just want some background noise for camping, this thing would be great. If you plan to listen for long hours in a closed environment with music that has a required low end component to it, I would definitely look elsewhere. These speakers will be sorely disappointing in that case.

Cool BT speakers
Nice unit plenty loud for it's size.Pairs right away and sounds great,on my Fire 7 Even has plugs for in line Speakers and a recharge port as well. ;) Well worth the cost but will not Pair with my PC!???Which is the main reason I bought this! It's a refurbished Business Computer: D630 Latitude from Dell and only has One Speaker also. :(

Works well most of the time, not a full sound, not complaining (much!) for $23 bucks
I loved this speaker until I used it for an evening. It detected my bluetooth transmission (from my Fire with transmitter attached) with no problem, music sprang to life from it. But some music came through distorted, even making a small rattle at times. It can be cranked to high volume, but doesn't feel like a full sound -- I wanted to turn up the base but it was already at the top. I guess, what do I expect for $23 bucks? I just don't know how much I need to pay to get the sound I want. That's hard to determine from product descriptions and reviews. The pluses include that it is lightweight and easy to move with its little handle. It looks rather futuristic and cool looking -- purple with blue lights. But there was a point when I did not want the lights glowing and could not turn them off.

Very nice Good sound. It could use a little more bass but for the money, I have absolutely no problem with this speaker setup Thanks Al
