Works good for ps2 and ps2 games but does not work with ps1 games played through ps2.

Ps2 is basically unplayable on new TV's this will fix that. Not perfect but so much better then others I've tried. Side note the usb on front of the ps2 seems to proved cleaner power then the proved power adapter. If the picture is unstable or your seeing extra white pixels the power being supplied to the adapter it not correct.

Of course today's video game graphics far surpass what was out 20 yrs ago. But even with all of that I'm an old school guy and recently found a local place where they sell retro gaming. I bought a PS2 for the simple purpose of a select few favorite games of all time of mine. PS2s working thank goodness. Noticed that for some games the visuals haven't aged quite well throughout the years. So one day I randomly stumbled across this product. I was skeptical of course because I figured it's too good to be true. Well turns out I was happily mistaken lol. This thing works and you can see the difference. The picture is much more sharp and vibrant. It won't turn the image into 4k or anything wild like that but it's HD non the less. And for the price it's not too shabby. Just a courtesy reminder that it won't work if you try and play PS1 games on your PS2.

$30 for an adapter that doesn’t work. PS2 or PS1 games, doesn’t matter. You see the boot screen, then disconnect. I’ve just spent 2 hours trying to get this thing to work again. Yeah, you heard me. This DID work for a while. Maybe 8 months. I’d love a refund, as I don’t plan on spending $60 a year to hope my retro games work.

Worlds better than the composite to hdmi converter I was using picture is far less fuzzy on screen although it does take the monitor some time to process the aspect ratio from the device not sure how to fix that but works great nevertheless.

WOW!! Okay, so I had this other contraption that allowed you to hook up the composite video cables (Red, Yellow, White) and covert it to HDMI. With the PS2 it looked like garbage. Then I found this one on-line and read the reviews and they all said it was great. So, I figured, for the price, I'll try. WOW. Amazing. The PS2 looked great on my 1080p TV!!!!! I was able to play my SOCOM: Navy Seals game which I've been wanting to play ever since I started watching the "Seal Team" show. Now I'm thinking of ALL the PS2 games I can play again. The only thing I question is that the instructions and the box says its for the PS2 AND PS3. But the PS3 is already HDMI native. So, I don't understand how and why you would use this module for the PS3. I'm just using it for the PS2 so I still gave it 5 stars.
