For shapely women with big hips
I ordered an xl, to ensure it would fit my waist. I usually wear a US size 10 in jeans, and this fits my waist comfortably, but It could be a tad tighter. My actual measurements with a tape measure are waist=35", hips=40", & thighs=21"each. I think this skirt is made for women with small waists & bigger butts & hips. I had to take it in on each side because it almost looked like jockey pants. I also had to add some white lace to the distressed hole area on the upper backside of the skirt, because you could see part of my butt/underwear and I felt it was wayyy too revealing. There is no stretch to the material either; it's a very thin denim. Cute skirt, but I wish it fit better despite my alterations.

Looks just like picture
So this skirt is super cute, but.... its made for ladies with a tiny waist and thick hips. Im 5'11 167 and do not have a tiny waist or big hips so it looked like a potato sack on me, the distressed area on the back of the skirt is a little too high too and shows alot of skin.... over all its cute and would be a great buy for the right figure... well made though

Poor fit and cuts show everything
Was very disappointed in this purchase. The cut outs ended up being right on my butt in the back and way too high up in the front. I tried this on and with one look both my husband and i said Heck NO! It fit was way too small, I ordered one size up and should have ordered 3 sizes up.

Be cautious.
I'm a bit dissatisfied as the distressed areas on the skirt has areas that expose my bottom on both cheeks. The skirt will have to be taken to a seamstress to cover those areas which is an unexpected extra expense. This also will take away from the point of the distressed look however it will leave some room for keeping the modesty intact.

The skirt is so lovely in person. However It was too small and the zipper was broken. I Sent it back. I order an XL which is my normal size however the skirt looked like a SIZE M. I would have kept the skirt and got the zipper fixed myself but the size was just not right.

there is no elasticity in this skirt. The fit was just not for me. I'm 5'9 and 138 lbs. it laid right on my waistline but the slit in the back was so high that it almost showed my butt. Had higher expectations for this, but had to return it.

Disappointed
The skirt was beautiful .I real wanted it too.I usually wear a large I ordered 2xl.Am glad I read the review.
