This small, simply-designed Tea Kettle was sleek and fit perfectly on my small stovetop. It wasn't too big or bulky and didn't take up too much space on top. It heated up enough water for many mug-sized cups of coffee or tea without having to wait forever for a bigger teapot to boil. I love its streamlined design and how quickly it boils and lets me know the water is ready with its very loud whistle. Plus, the price was unbelievable. It's turned out to be the ideal teapot for me! And I love how it looks sitting on my stove, ready for action. I'd already bought 2 or 3 other teapots that I had to return because their whistles were too quiet, or the pots were too big & clunky, or they took too long to finally heat up--but this one turned out to be just what I was actually looking for! It has a snug-fitting lid, easy to flip open spout, a convenient handle that lies down: it's just a lovely, simply-designed teapot that I enjoy looking at on top of my stove with its handle up. I'm so glad I waited until I could find this one!

Glass tea pot cracked. Bought this product just to get me through. It has now lasted a long time under daily use. Has not rusted or shown wear of any type. Very happy and great for the price

This is a nice little kettle for its price point. It appears reasonably well made, and the classic brushed stainless steel design would work well in both modern and traditional kitchens. It has no frills, which is exactly what I wanted in a tea kettle. It's on the smaller side but has a reasonable capacity for a single person or couple. The black plastic handle is comfortable, and while it becomes quite warm, it is not too hot to comfortably handle. The whistle works as well as any I've had. A few comments that might help potential buyers: (1) The kettle is quite light in weight compared to your mother's kettle (or, for that matter, any of the other kettles I've had). Given its stainless steel construction, it will probably last many years but is not one you'll ever hand down to your children. And if you accidentally let it boil dry, it will probably be toast. (2) The lightweight construction of this kettle causes it to vibrate a bit from the moment you turn the heat on to the time you turn it off. It's not an annoying sound, but it's not silent. A bit like the sound of steam. For someone who gets busy and forgets they've turned on the kettle, this might be considered a feature. (3) The instructions that came with the kettle cautioned that it should not be used on anything more than "medium" heat. Undoubtedly that's because of the lighter gauge metal. Again, not a deal-killer, but it's going to take considerably longer to heat water than if you could turn the stove to "high" and let 'er rip. And if you're someone who, in a morning stupor, habitually turns the stove automatically to "high," this kettle may end up warping. On this subject, I'd wager that the several negative reviews for this product which mentioned the melting of plastic parts and the too-hot handle allowed the kettle to overheat. (4) There is no finger trigger underneath the handle that lifts the spout cover, as many tea kettles have. Instead, there is a plastic tab attached to the spout that is apparently designed to be pulled back with a thumb. The tab is at a sufficient distance from the center of the handle that most smaller hands would probably not be able to comfortably reach it. So as a practical matter, I'm finding that it takes two hands to remove the kettle from the stove, flip the tab back, and pour. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. All in all, I'm pretty happy with this basic little kettle. At this price point, I really can't complain.

I am enjoying this little kettle. It is light weight and has a clean look. Heats water fast. Is easy to fill. I use is a few times a week for tea. No complaints.

Basic teakettle works well. Only complaint is that it is tarnishing. Will have to work on that maybe with a steel brush or special cleaner.

Bought this back in March of 2025, super fast to heat water to a piping hot 170F (5 minutes or so for a half pot) the whistle (when it hits boiling) is quite loud enough to hear it a room away. Stainless steel is such a super material for any cookwear, easy to clean and maintain. I highly recommend this for all. Tried other retail store types and ended up tossing them into the recycle bin.

Handle gets very hot. Arrived with a rust spot starting on the inside bottom. It is well made but the metal is so light it will not be durable. Returned

The handle keeps dropping and hot. Need gloves or anything to cover the handle everytime I grab it

Works as it should. It's a little smaller than I was anticipating
