Premium quality without premium expense
Having run thousands of feet of cable I am confident in saying not all cable is made the same. Knowing that and having my fair share of bad experiences I don't just click on the one that costs the least. Not only is performance important (and you never really know how it's going to perform until after you've spent hours of your time installing it), but long-term reliability (the last thing you want to do is spend even more hours pulling a bad cable and reinstalling a new one).I can't tell you how long my first installation using Tera Grand brand cable will last, I expect it to be many years, but I can tell you that I am pleased with the construction of the cable and connectors and that I am satisfied with the performance.I'm using this batch for a security camera installation. The camera is one of the newest generation 4K hi-res POE w/audio cameras and is sensitive to the quality of Ethernet cable it uses, probably more demanding than the typical device. My 70' run is very close to the maximum limit my system can handle. I bought this to replace a cable from one of the other top-selling brands that accidentally got damaged. The performance of the Tera Grand cable exceeds expectations. The cable is exactly as represented. I've found that in those rare instances where a product is received that is not as described it is less likely that it is counterfeit than simply due to an error, and should not reflect on the manufacturer or the quality of the product.

Recently upgraded internet to 1Gbps, these deliver.
I bought this cable after upgrading my internet service to Comcast's Gigabit plan, and trying the amazonbasics brand.First thing I noticed was how much thicker the Tera Grand cables were compared to the amazonbasics variety. (They still bend nicely).Second thing I noticed was reduced latency. (though that could be attributed to different time-of-day)With these cables, I pull about 1200 mbps down, and 35-40 mbps up through a 2.5gbps onboard NIC connected to an XB6 modem/router combo. For those who aren't on Gigabit internet yet but considering buying Ethernet cables, these are the way to go for future-proofing. For those on Gigabit internet or require faster LAN file transfers, these are definitely worth the extra cost over amazonbasics in my opinion, and I'll be buying more of these cables in the near future.

Works as advertised
A noticeable improvement over CAT5e and CAT6 for throughput and bandwidth. Good construction with high quality connectors. I will buy this brand again.

Use this!
I have had longstanding problems with WIFI connectivity in my home which is how I was getting streaming TV (don't have cable.) Finally broke down and fished this through the ceiling to our new 4K TV to have a hardwire connection. No more buffering! No more problems in connecting! Amazing signal! This type of cable works better than the flexible flat cable for fishing through ceiling/walls. The shielding makes a difference. I upgraded to Cat 7 and Cat 8 wherever I could and a lot of my connectivity problems disappeared. Just keep in mind you can't cut this, so estimate your lengths accurately.

75ft long white, Double Shielded, with retainers and tab protectors
Needed a good reliable cable from my distribution center in a basement all the way through the garage then inside the walls up to the attic to the second router. With such a long run, different temperatures, passing various AC line runs, I wanted to make sure that I have minimal interference, so shielding was important to me. So I got this 75ft long cable. I also wanted to have those locking tab rubber protectors. I used to work in network installation business 20 years ago when I was still at school. I broke too many of those tabs in the past, and the plugs were not reliable anymore. For my home project, would any ordinary cable (crimped by myself) do the job? Probably yes, but probably was not good enough. I didn't want to play this game anymore and waste time on troubleshooting or replacing the cable. So far works great with 1Gb speed, hopefully it is also future "speed-proof".

Working very well so far
Used it to run a line from the router to the other side of the house. Working very well so far.

Great, high quality, and reliable cables
I have purchased 19 of these cables, 11 recently, 8 back in 2014, so I won't review them all. I have various lengths 3ft, 7ft, 25ft, 50ft, 75ft. They all have functioned perfectly and continue to over time. I have a 10GB network with a few 1GB devices (Yep use Cat 7 on 1GB)). I even use this on my cable modem which is less than 1GB but I just want the quality and consistency in my network. I have stuck to buying only this brand due to my excellent experiences with the product.

Shielding seems good
Working OK for me although I'm not stressing the bandwidth. It runs within 3 feet of a microwave oven and I have no issues when the microwave is running.
