Easy to charge but mine lasts a REALLY long time on one charge. Easy to handle size, great safety feature to avoid pressing the button by mistake. Quality feels good, doesn't feel cheap.I use these for candles. No issue with lighting except my only caveat is that these sorts of rechargeable lighters don't work great if you use them straight on to light a candle wick. You need to come at them from the side which can be a little rough if you're burning in a deep container. It's actually easier with this style because of the flexibility.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is so much easier to use than the butane lighters. With arthritis hands I can no longer get the butane ones to light. This arcs and lights my candles and torches easier and does not hurt my hand. And there’s no messy cleanup. Charging is quick and lasts.

We have been using disposable goose neck lighter to light candles for many year, we never like them but stuck with them due to lack of better alternatives. Biggest dislike was their safety switch which was so "safe" that it literally hurts my fingers to turn it on. For only the cost of a couple of disposable ones, this rechargeable electric lighter is a godsend. Their safety switch is an on/off switch, and just hold down a small button lightly to ignite it. Easy breezy, no struggle with the safety switch, no flame, no butane gas to refill. What not to like? I can dispose all the disposables from now on :)

The media could not be loaded. This USB ARC lighter offers good value for the money. It does exactly what it says it does and it works fairly well. I wish I had a bit longer battery life. I barely use it, but it has often gone down to one bar of power and requires recharging.The build quality is ok and can feel a bit flimsy at times but the price savings over using disposable butane/gas lighters more than makes up the difference.Overall, I would highly recommend switching to a rechargeable ARC USB lighter like this one then traditional lighters. My only con is that I should have gotten a longer length one to reach further under larger pans/pots and when I need to light a BBQ charcoal grill.

My wife loves wax candles. We probably have about 50 of them throughout the house and ahe lights them all the time. She used to use disposable long-neck flame lighters and would complain about them running out of fluid.I gave her one of these rechargeable arc lighters and she absolutely loves it. Whenever she uses it, she tells me how much she likes it. And she uses it a lot.It lights the wicks quickly (faster than a flame lighter) and has a decent run time before it needs to be recharged. When it comes to recharge time, only takes about an hour to get it back from almost dead to 100%. I use a USB port charger (not a wall outlet).Having the flexible neck works great for getting down into narrow candles close to the end of the wick.She’s had it for about 8 months now and it’s still going strong. The only question I have is how long the two arc contacts will last. I also notice some kind of build up at the tip but I don’t want to clean it in fear I will damage the contacts. My resolution is that I bought her another one to give her if/when this one eventually dies.Definitely a great buy.

I am writing this review because my lighter has finally stopped working. When I first initially purchased this back in 2021, I used it frequently but recently in the last year, I started only to use it a few times a month. About 3 weeks ago, it died and after I charged it fully, it just stopped. The lights twinkled like they normally do when you turn it on but no sparks came out. I tried to let it charge again fully and still nothing. Guess it's time for a new one and the price for it is amazing.

This is a great little gadget! I was given one as a gift and it was so awe-inspiring to everyone in front of whom I used it that they asked how they could get one! So I bought five more to give as gifts. It didn't work so well lighting my gas grill--I'll have to try again--but it does a great job on candles and I'm sure it would do well lighting paper to start a fire in the fireplace. One especially likable feature is the goose-neck tip which you can bend to suit.

The flame was fine. It was like you had to get it directly in the middle of the wick sometimes. However, worked great for like 1 year. But after, it started glitching and the charger doesnt even charge it and now Im sad it doesnt work. Came exactly like picture though.
