TROLLMaster is the world's leading remote Throttle & Steering control for auxiliary outboards. Maintain optimum trolling speeds to maximize your catch salmon, steelhead, trout, walleye, tuna and more. The PRO3 Plus has all the precision speed and direction control of its predecessor, the PRO3, but everything is now controlled with a sleek, wireless remote that you can wear on a lanyard around your neck, keep in a pocket, or mount anywhere on the boat. No more cables to trip over, and no more having to run a cable from the motor to the helm. It features a back-lit display for those times when you're fishing right up to and past sunset when the bite is so hot, you can't leave the water.

Good unit but in hindsight the wireless doesn't really offer an advantage
I have used a Trollmaster for years. I consider it a must-have for controlling my trolling speed. I changed boats this year and the new boat didn't have one so I immediately ordered one. I was imagining that the wireless would be easier to install and more convenient to operate. If I would have thought more carefully about it and did my homework I would have realized that the installation is not any easier since you still have to run just as many wires. In fact, in my case the installation was a little trickier because the wires were too short for mounting the control box anywhere that made sense. I also have not found the wireless remote to be of any real advantage over the wired remote. Trollmaster is a great product and I will have one on every boat I ever own but I personally think that the wired model is actually a better choice for most applications.

This is JUNK
This product is JUNK. the stroke is limited making turns very difficult. It eats AAA batteries I cannot get two outings out of a set of batteries. I went back to the easy steer to finish the season.

Wish it was better
2 year review just removed my Trollmaster as it’s a headache. Great concept terrible quality. After install and using the system for several months the main unit or receiver crapped out. Paid for a new one to replace the defective one. Things happen so no biggie. Surprised at the amount of batteries the hand held remote consumes. I have never finished a day of fishing on a single pair of batteries. I had to keep a large sleeve of AAA batteries in the boat. Easily spent over $100 in batteries for this thing. Now the remote will not stay on for more than 2-3 minutes. The servo that installs on the throttle is prone to failure as well and you had better order extra servos! And they will fail. Nothing better than having to reel up and run to the ramp so you can trailer the boat and swap out the servo to return to your fishing. Neat idea but all pieces of the assembly have failed in 2 years.
