OK so this stuff is not a joke, it genuinely wrecked my mouth the first time I tried it and I consider myself someone with a high heat tolerance. The flavor is actually really interesting though, it's not just pure burn with nothing behind it like a lot of extract sauces. It also comes with a cute little keychain bullet spoon which is a fun bonus. If you think you can handle it this is the real deal and I keep coming back to it.

Coming in at 1,000,000 Scovilles this sauce is the real deal. I love spicy food and I've been building up my collection, but this is one of my favorites. It's definitely a keeper and one I plan on getting again. It comes with a little novelty keychain as well. It's a little bullet that unscrews into a tiny little spoon. Not much to say about it, but it looks cool and is a nice little thing to keep. Not going to lie though I can't really find a discernable flavor while eating this, but instead I what I can tell you is that it doesn't taste like crap at least. Comparing it to other hot sauces at this range most of them have the heat, but a seriously bad aftertaste. This is clean pure heat with not strings attached. It'll burn your entire mouth, but hey at least you aren't gagging. (From the taste anyways) 10/10 I will be buying this again. Good clean heat without the insanely (bad) flavor. Neat little key chain as a bonus.

Nice and spicy! After running through a few bottles of supposedly higher scoville units that were just not that spicy to me, I decided to purchase this known quantity and it did not disappoint. I had previously purchased the silver edition about 10 years ago and it had a very good kick to it so I figured the gold edition would definitly satisy my desire for serious heat.

I bought this after seeing a video that showed it was scientifically hotter than anything in the Hot Ones lineup, planning to use it as my "Number 11" in a hot wings night for friends and family. It absolutely takes things to another level. The flavor is good and smoky, the spice level is ridiculous, and one bottle is more than enough to last for a long, long time. Some people say they drizzle this on pizza or wings, but they must have a much higher spice tolerance than I do because a couple of drops were enough to make me tear up. I would recommend this to serious spice lovers, but it's also not an everyday kind of hot sauce that you'll want to put on everything. Worth it if you love crazy heat.

We are all of us individuals, and that includes us 'chili heads'! Those brave enough, or crazy enough, to try this sauce had differing opinions, though all agreed that it was HOT! One thought it was smokey, one thought it was sour, and the third thought is was pure heat, and one, well, he said 'meh', not that hot all, though it was not tasted in my presence, so we shall see next week when I bring in the truly hot Mad Dog choices, up to, and including Plutonium, and rest assured, I shall be witness to that sampling... Myself, I think it is a bit less 'sweet', than the regular Mad Dog 357, but with obviously more heat within the onset, and more lasting, but still a great tasting sauce, within mine own opinion, and can mix it with lesser heat sauces to 'improve' the kick, but not overwhelm the taste of those such as my personal everyday, everyday sauce, Cholula... I fully recommend ANY Mad Dog product with the following warning...try a very small sample, i.e., the quarter inch of a toothpick to sample, before you choose to start dumping drops and drops onto something you are going to eat, for two reasons.... One, this may be more sauce than you think you can handle, and two, why ruin a meal when you cannot partake of what you have 'sauced'? Good luck, and happy saucing!

I like the taste of it. It is really spicy, I recomend not using a lot on your food or you will burn your mouth off. Only issue I had was with the included keychain. The text on the keychain rubbed off.

This stuff is the real deal. The hottest I've tried that still has a true sauce flavor instead of just extract heat. You can taste and smell the garlic and onion, and the peppers...especially the reaper. It doesn't have the dark smoky flavor like some of the sauces so it seems to go with more foods. The heat is certainly intense and you need to make sure you don't have any cuts on your lips or tongue or you will regret it in about 3 seconds. Gives a nice warm body buzz for about an hour and you'll even get that slight endorphin rush/energy boost. The little bullet spoon attached is actually about the right size for a large bite of food. A large drop or two will flavor a quart of salsa very nicely. One drop on a taco is rippin' hot! Take every precaution not to get this on your fingers as you will likely end up rubbing your eyes when they start watering from the heat. Also, there is no comparison flavor wise to the Silver Edition or the 600,000 Scoville Mad Dog sauce. Far better and a step up in quality in my opinion. This sauce goes well with eggs/omelettes, red meats, salsa, chili, hot dogs, anything Mexican, your girlfriend, melted cheeses, stuffed veggies, certain cocktails, blackened chicken salads, etc. Price is decent for this level of heat AND flavor.

Most people that buy these kind of seriously powerful hot sauces do so for the challenge of being able to handle the heat when eaten neat, a practice that going by the plethora of videos I've seen online, only masochistic people or those with asbestos lined mouths may enjoy... Each to their own, but not for me, thanks. When used the way it is intended, this food additive elevates a spicy recipe like a chilli con carne to levels of heat that can not normally be achieved with natural ingredients, half a teaspoon on a pot for 6 is sufficient to bring the burn up,l to increases the burn with every bite, but can still be eaten without pain. It tastes good too. 5 stars from me

Exactly what it says on the label Very hot sauce, i’m a complete amateur with spicy food and hot sauces got this more as a challenge for myself and some friends and needless to say don’t need a lot at all before realising what i’d gotten myself into. Tastes great for all of 3 seconds until spice kicks in great quality bottle and keychain, not shown but keychain unscrews to become a serving spoon. Absolutely fantastic but won’t be ordering again
