EDECOA 1500W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter DC 12V to 120V 110V AC Converter with Remote Controller (1500 Watts 12V)

I installed this inverter in my 2016 Ford Transit work van right behind the driver's seat and screwed it on to the metal cage wall, about 8" high from the floor to allow for fan ventilation. It is used mainly to run my inkjet printer and a 900W microwave, so I can warm up my lunch food. I used the lead wires that came with it, but added a 150A fuse on the negative cable. I did not connect the remote switch as I can easily reach the inverter's switch from my seat. It works perfectly with both the printer and the microwave. I run the engine on while using the microwave, just in case. So far the inverter has been working great for the last couple of weeks.

Using this with two deep cycle, Koval batteries in parallel to run items in the house, it will run our pellet stove for about two days without charging.

Unit came well packaged and included extra replaceable main fuses and the remote control. Only downside to the remote control are the overly bright leds for battery and inverter status. Used in a conversion van the leds need to be taped over otherwise entire interior of the van is illuminated. Use the invertor to power a 700watt microwave, small refrigerator and an Ikea inductive heat plate for cooking (which would not work with a modified sine wave inverter). So far so good, relatively quiet with the fan running.

This was my third Edecoa 1500w. The first two lasted 34 and 32 months respectively before showing proper DC input, but simply failing to produce AC current with a flashing "!" that provided no diagonistic information. This third box arrived with the appearance of being re-sealed and gave no response when attached to battery and turned on. Inside, all eight 25a. fuses were blown. I replaced them to try and save the sale, but they immediately blew again. Ordered a different product and awaiting delivery.

I bought one for my son for his trailer. He used it for few months, keep throwing alram sound so, he had to disconnect the power to reset the whole thing. nuisance but worked. so, I bought one for my my trailer in June last year 2020. Used it few times and it completely died without any warning. I would not recommend this product.
