this is a fantastic hair spray. its part hairspray, part dry shampoo. in my opinion, it should not be used as one or the other. in other words, don't use this solely as a dry shampoo. don't use it solely as a hairspray. here's why: first off, it is an expensive product and i think it would be wasteful to use it *just* as a dry shampoo OR *just* as a hairspray since there are plenty of products out there that do one or the other. the fact that this spray is a hybrid is what makes it so special. its great for giving a subtle matte finish with just a bit of hold. if you use a lot of it over a few consecutive days without washing your hair, you WILL get some white residue build-up. i mainly use it on my bangs to keep them looking fresh and to help them stay in place all day. the packaging is very sleek and nice, and the spray itself smells great. this spray was my first kevin murphy purchase, and it has definitely inspired me to try some of his other products in the near future. its definitely a splurge, but i recommend it if you heat style your hair and want some subtle powdery hold that lasts all day!

This spray is incredible - it gives great texture and hold. It smells amazing. I have thick, long hair and it has been really lovely. It is dry and doesn't have CRAZY HOLD, but it gives me exactly what I am looking for. It doesn't make my hair greasy and it lasts in my hair for a few days. The size is great and gives me great volume!

DO NOT BUY!!! I order this hairspray regularly and do not have any issues with it. The last bottle I received does not work. The nozzle is not right or something and will not spray out the hairspray. I tried changing out the nozzle with a working nozzle from another bottle. It still will not work. I have tried repeatedly to contact customer service about it. No one has responded to my email request and the phone number listed for customer service is not a working number. I have now spent a lot of money on something I cannot use. I have not been able to return or replace it either. I will not be ordering from this seller again!! Save yourself the trouble as well and do not order from this seller!!!!

I usually can’t stand the smell of most hairsprays, but this one is very nice (my partner thought it was perfume). My hair can’t hold any style on its own. I used this spray after styling and my partner thought I’d been to the hair salon, which is really saying something because he rarely notices my hair. Recommend, because I like it myself.

I love this Doo Over stuff! I've tried a couple of other hair powder products with so-so results. With some, like this Schwarzkopf OSiS Dust It - Mattifying Powder , I liked the effect it gave my hair. But the downside was that it was more difficult to apply powder onto my fingers and then into the roots of my hair. Plus it could be tough to shampoo out and made my scalp itchy. Although I have lots and lots of nearly shoulder-length hair, the texture of it is fine. So I normally have to shampoo and blow dry every morning to keep lift and body in my hair. But not now that I have this stuff by Kevin Murphy. If my hair looks like it's lost some of its "oomph" later in the day from humidity or just needs a "re do" the following day, all I have to do is lift up strand sections and give a short blast of this powder Doo Over. Sometimes I have to take dampened fingers to reshape my hair, but usually just a quick root spraying does the trick to give great texture and lift to my hair. And it lasts throughout the day (and sometimes the following day). I still tend to shampoo and blow dry every other day or so, but the spray allows me to go an extra day or two before redoing my hair -- something I would never have done before without my hair hanging limp. Besides the way it makes my hair work, I also love the smell (essences of Cedar Wood and Patchouli). The "magic" ingredient is apparently tapioca starch which sounds weird, but it works great for me. When sprayed on, it's invisible and my hair moves naturally (unlike regular hairspray). The only *slight* downsides to this spray could be that if you used it constantly for days without shampooing out you might get a build-up of some white powdery residue. Also, I usually get frustrated with aerosol cans because they tend to clog early leaving lots of product trapped inside. That hasn't happened yet and I'll update my review if it does. I keep the larger size for home use and the smaller 3.4 oz size for travel.

This hairspray adds the perfect amount of texture and softness so that they lay perfectly. A little goes a long way. It does have a strong smell despite it saying that it’s unscented.

On sera tous d’accord : elle est à mon avis, très chère … Mais c’est la meilleure que je connaisse au niveau finition, rendu de volume et tenuesont au rendez-vous pour les cheveux fins, elle ne fait pas l’effet du Nac et sent très bon… Elle retient les cheveux en place naturellement, sans les coller est très facile à éliminer

I have used this product for years and I highly recommend it. It not only smells beautiful it gives your hair volume and is great if your hair needs washing. It is an all over product. Gives volume ,smell and shine. Love it. It is also cheaper on Amazon than at the hairdressers
