Snare (12" mesh pad) for electronic drum - Plain Black look - for Alesis and Roland

I only had the product for about two months. Played on it about 2 hours a week total. I noticed the mesh head started coming apart and it’s gotten worse now. This product would have been a 5 star easily if it weren’t for this issue. Everything else about it is very high quality. (Update) they contacted me and will be sending me a new mesh head. Great service.

I recently purchased the 5 piece kit directly from the seller after browsing their website. 5pc set includes snare, 3 toms, and one bass drum pad. I was able to provide a custom image for my drum set. I went with a picture of the Orion nebula taken by the Hubble telescope, and it turned out amazing! (check out the pictures) As for the performance, I couldn't be happier. I went from an 8" mesh head snare, and 3 rubber toms along with the kd-8 kick for my Roland TD-3 to these, and what a difference it makes to play all mesh with a larger area to work with. I will say that the bass took the most adjusting, and could still use some. Mesh head on the bass makes for high rebound that needed to be lowered as well as adjustments on the drum module to avoid unwanted double hits.One last note about the seller! Easily the best customer service I have had in quite a while. They were professional as well as very helpful, and patient as I mocked up multiple designs before settling on one. Whether you get one piece or multiple, I'd highly recommend their product. At the very least the 4pc kit with the snare and 3 toms. Next I will probably try out their cymbals.

I have an Alysis Nitro Mesh and had read in various places that it should work with the Nitro Mesh but some customers have had problems. I didn't have any. When it did arrived, I just plugged it in to the snare position and started playing. I didn't need to make any adjustments. This includes playing through a set of earphones connected directly to the Nitro module and hooking it up to my Mac and playing through the app Garage Band.

Great looking product with good quality sound. I play hard and this snare seems to hold up to it’s name.

Works as advertised. Pretty responsive. Using it with my Alesis D4 and need to tweek a little more, but overall its good out of the box.

Well I just received it today and it was early.Thanks guys. So I put it on the stand and plugged it in. Wow! Will be posting a video soon. Stay tuned.

Ordered direct from company, arrived 2 days earlier than estimate. The snare looks nice, a few minor adjustments on my Command module and everything is great, good sounds, mesh feels strong, rim shots accurate, etc. Very good customer service, as they offered a small discount, which is always nice. I’ve now ordered a new Alesis DM10 MK II Pro that according to the compatibility chart is a match. I like the Tom’s and may someday try them as well.
