Is the color 67 Royal Blue really royal blue as the image looks very dark like navy blue?

You are correct, the royal blue is definitely more of a darker navy blue. The shirt will shrink a little if you dry it as usual, but you can let it air dry & it won’t shrink. I’ve actually been very impressed with this whole line of shirts, short & long sleeve & have now ordered a total of 7. The cotton is very thick & feels well made & honestly they’re some of my favorite shirts. I’ve washed them a couple times now & they haven’t faded & look the same as when new. I also like how they aren’t loose around the collar and overall a great fit for me. I do recommend a delicate cold wash & either air dry or dry on low heat. I tried 2 other brands on Amazon of the same style shirt with no logo and ended up sending those back and keeping these.

Would the fabric in this shirt be good to tie dye?

It has a silky feel to the material. Doesn’t feel like it would absorb liquid good.

All there products are true to the color displayed, so I assume it will be as the picture. I actually haven’t bought that color but now that you mention it I probably would.
