I was so excited to read Hugh and Harlow’s story! Hugh and Harlows chemistry is volatile and mixed like oil and water. In Wrapped and Strapped, Hugh fights his attraction to Harlow, he’s already been with a rich spoiled princess, and he’s not looking to repeat that horrible experience again. He may have misjudged Harlow tho, sure she comes from money but she’s dedicated her life to helping others. She’s not spoiled at all, but incredibly caring and kind. She comes to the Split Rick Ranch to visit her sister and recover from being held hostage overseas. She doesn’t need some brooding cowboy judging her and giving her attitude. But he is darn sexy evan if he is a stuffy, stick in the mud. Harlow can’t deny the sparks between herself and Hugh. When the pair find themselves in a working relationship and on an extended road trip they learn that opposites attract and that you can’t always judge a book by it’s cover. The pair have a fantastic adventure, and the supporting characters are hilarious. I would highly recommend this book and the series!

It was another great book in her Blacktop Cowboy series. I love this series and these characters. Harlow and Hugh are not your typical couple and this book was different from her other books in this series since it went back and forth from their previous encounters to the present. I loved that and I loved their relationship. I also love the relationship between her sister and her, her and her Father, and her sister and her sister's husband, etc., all of these relationships, including old and new friends was believeable. All these characters could be your friends, neighbors, or family. That is one of the best things about any Lorelei James book, her honesty and believability. I think it's a great addition to this series and I recommend that you read this and each and every book in this series.

Hugh and Harlow have become one of my favorite couples among the many written by Lorelei James. Unlike many other books I've read recently, I could easily identify with both the characters. Hugh has been burned by his ex-wife and Harlow was reluctant to get involved after an especially abusive relationship. I found it refreshing that Hugh was the one pursuing the relationship with Harlow, who is the one always running away from her emotions.This is the seventh book in Ms. James' Blacktop Cowboys series. It can be read as a stand-alone; however, do yourself a favor and read all of them before you read this one. Characters introduced in previous books make appearances here so having read the earlier books you'll better appreciate this one. The Mud Lilies rule!!

Harlow and Hugh are simply perfect together. They've struck sparks off one another time and time again. Her volunteer work has kept her traveling around the world - sometimes to her detriment. She survived a dangerous abusive relationship and is back in Wyoming to help her family. Hugh is there waiting for her. Finding their way to a relationship is challenging; but it's fun, entertaining, and heartwarming as we journey with them through their ups and downs and miscommunications. They do find love and togetherness through compromise proving that two strong, very different people can find a way to bridge their differences.

As always another great book by Lorelei James in her Blacktop Cowboy series. I love this series and all of these characters. Harlow and Hugh are not your typical couple;they have a past and we get glimpses from the past to help explain the present. It helps us see their relationships not only with each other but with their family and friends. All these characters could be your friends, neighbors, or family. That is one of the best things about any Lorelei James book, her honesty and believability. I loved this book. I highly recommend it along with the rest of this series and any other Lorelei James book.

Unfortunately this does appear to the weakest of the Blacktop Cowboys series.It is still a good read and in particular, the first half to three quarters of the book was very strong but the last quarter and the end was a bit meh.I did like revisiting previous characters and I did enjoy Harlow and Hugh as a couple. Anyone who has read the previous books in this series will enjoy Wrapped and Strapped.Special mention to how wonderful the Mud Lilies are!

Surprised at more story line and toned down raunchy sex. Very fun read but still very steamy. As always love the character development

Book 7 in Blacktop Cowboy Hugh and HarlowHugh works for Renner in the contracting side of the farming business but since Renner got married and had children he’s slowly show less interest in business and the contracting side is getting less interest for stock every month.Harlow is a drifter with itchy feet and works in many humanitarian organisations around the world but because her and sister and father don’t understand her or her passion to help organisations that need help.I do love this book especially how it pulls other characters into the front of the story like the mud lilies, torbin but I do feel this book is really long but I wouldn’t be able to pick what to cut out. Absolutely love Lorelei James and her cowboy series. This is a spin off my absolute favourite rough riders series.

This was such a bargain and a great read i love the author and she never fails to make me swoon.

Lorelei James, she can do no wrong, really enjoyed this book, loved the whole series.
