Outstanding Child's Guitar for the Money. NOT a toy.
I've been playing acoustic guitar for over 60 years, and have owned cheap ones, good ones and ones for which you'd happily pawn your grandmother's Picasso. This very inexpensive 3/4-size starter was a perfect birthday gift for my 10-year-old student who was struggling with a kid-sized solid-body and a touchy amp. It's solid, with nice tone and a neck width & length he can handle. The strings must be retuned when new to get them properly stretched, but that happens with all nylon strings. (The guitar ships with loose strings.) The intonation is very good for the price, just a few cents off at the octave. There were no buzzes, and the nut had no sharp edges to nick the strings. The action is a just little high at the body (not unusually so, but a bit too high for playing easily in the higher frets); that's not an issue for playing near first position, which most people do for years. (The action could be lowered with a simply shaving of the bridge, if the frets aren't too prominent.) The nylon strings are a must for kids' fingers on any cheap acoustic guitar. (Tight steel strings and a high action are a major reason they quit early.) The 3/4 size creates a manageable body, shorter scale and smaller fret spaces, all of which help as well. The included "gig bag" is slightly protective; one reviewer called it more a "dust cover," but that's OK. I didn't check out the included YouTube introductory lessons. There's an included tuner and instructions for using it. (Tuning is one of the harder things for kids to learn.)All in all a great value, promptly delivered!

The value is worth it
I bought this for my 9 yr old daughter as she's shown a little interest in playing guitar (she learned how to play the low E string for the main riff). The guitar I currently have, Seagull S6, the action is too high due to not taking care of it enough. So I I paid $70 for this guitar for her. But it's turned out that it has been very helpful for me to get back into playing. I only knew like 3 chords but this little thing has just reinvigorated my interest in playing guitar, and it's incredibly easy to learn on. My Seagull is a Dreadnought and actually quite large. So this 3/4 scale guitar has been perfect for me to learn and hone my skills. I'm still such a novice, but I'm loving this every day. So long story short, this is incredibly great value for a guitar and though it's very generic looking, it'll get the job down and then some if you have kids or just want to work on your skills to get better.

Decent Cheap Guitar, But I Returned For A Higher Quality Item
The media could not be loaded. Fair warning, I ended up returning this guitar. Got it as a warehouse deal, but it was much more damaged cosmetically than described. I've been playing guitar for a little over 6 months, and my other guitar is a steel string dreadnought. Not much experience with nylon strings. I'm definitely no expert, but these are my thoughts. Before returning I played with it for a while to test it out to see if I wanted to order a replacement. I decided against reordering and will likely purchase a classical guitar at a higher price point. That being said:Pro: took a little while to get it to stay in tune, but once it was it sounded pretty decent. I also liked the size, both depth and length. Much smaller than a standard guitar, as expected from the description. Strings were easy to play, compared to steel. Also, love the color pattern.Cons: warehouse deal said the packaging was damaged, but in this case the guitar was as well. Did not factor into my 3 star rating, as it's not a reflection of the product. If it hadn't been damaged, or had been at a lower price point I may have considered keeping it, but I likely would have returned for something a bit higher quality.Quality wise, you're buying a cheap guitar. All in all, it actually plays better than I expected it would. It's marketed for beginners, and I think this is due to the price. Just know, you get what you pay for. It may be frustrating for a new player to never be in tune, and thus not want to play. Not saying this is the case, I didn't play it long enough to know if that's an issue, but I did have to retune it quite a bit the short time I had it.If your budget is $60, and you can't find a used one, this probably isn't a bad choice.

This great acoustic guitar
The delivery was at my door early—- very good serviceGuitar looks great, very good craftsmanshipThe guitar came with body strap. Picks, extra strings, a electronics guitar tunerYou really can’t say any negative comments on the productIf you go in to a guitar shop in your hometown..you can’t never get a super deal like thisManufacturers, suppliers, retailers are much better these days, they know consumers wants good products, easy no hassle return policy,Noticed all 3 metal strings are oxidizing - there are brown spots. This is not good as it means the are deteriorating. I’ll connect with seller to see if they will provide additional strings.

Exactly what I needed! Read for tuning info.
First off, I've been playing classical guitar my whole life. I was so excited when my youngest son told me he wanted to spend his savings on his own classical guitar and wanted me to teach him to play. It's basically the thrill of a lifetime for me lol.I am extremely satisfied with this guitar as his first step. I'll explain why. But first I need to address multiple reviews here that rate this product negatively due to its inability to keep tune.I can assure you, there is not a brand new set of nylon strings on the planet that will stay in tune until they've have been stretched out. So yes, if you are inexperienced, you may wonder why this guitar can't stay in tune long enough to play a single chord. What you need to do, is over tune the strings so they are much higher than they should be. Then every hour or so, go back and do it again. They will have loosened up a lot, and will need this several times. Before bed, make sure you tune them nice and tight (high). But don't break the strings lol. Slow tightening. In the morning. You should notice that they are holding tension much better. You may need to keep up this process for as long as 3 or 4 days in some cases. It is very dependent on the strings. My best suggestion, is invest in good strings. They are cheap. I recommend Ernie ball brand strings personally. My next choice would be admira as they have a great classical ring to them. This guitar is perfect for learners. Nylon Strings are MUCH preferable to young fingers. They will be able to play longer. Part of playing guitar, is developing calloused fingertips to make playing the instrument bearable.Young aspiring guitarists need to be made aware.. This HURTS when you're getting started. No way around it, but nylon strings are a much more gentle transition for new fingers. The neck on a classical guitar is flat and wider than a traditional acoustic guitar, that boasts a more narrow, curved neck. The Spacing on a classic guitar makes notes played more deliberate. Allowing more early instances of your young player getting to strum all 6 strings without muting any of them. The wider neck however.. It's harder to play. The fingers need to reach farther, making chord transitions challenging. I think this is HUGE in developing technical skills early. I mean REAL skills. The kind you don't see everyday.I absolutely want my child learning with this element in play. I realized at a young age, that I could play all my friends acoustic guitars so very easily after learning on a classical. It felt like I was cheating somehow, or like I was somehow playing the guitar on "easy mode".This is because I had to work harder to articulate my fingers on the classical guitar as I was learning. The size of this guitar is perfect for 9 -11 year old children to hold properly. The quality is fine. I was not expecting a symphony quality instrument here when I recommended my little guy buy this. But it is more than sufficient to create quality sounding music.I would NOT want a lot more quality out of this instrument and here is why. This will be obsolete very soon unless you have another youngster on deck to pick it up after. They grow fast. They learn fast.He needs this to wail on a few years tops and he will be starting to think about getting his first full size, quality instrument. That is what the Money should be saved for. Not for a junior guitar.Kids are clumsy. You want something that isn't going to break any hearts if damaged. You want something easy to replace in the worst case scenario. This is that guitar. It has a sturdy body, it looks great, it sounds fine. My kid has a heart of gold so I just assume he'll give it away to one of his little cousins or something when he outgrows it. LolAs a lifetime classical guitar player, trust me when I say this is ALL you need if you've got a little one wanting to learn for the first time. Get something crazy when they're ready for it. And buy it in a shop if you can! (.... Hate this pandemic ha ha)Enjoy everyone, I hope some of this was helpful to someone. Thanks seller. 5 stars

Pleasantly surprised
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box with the guitar. Purchased as a gift for a 9 yr old's birthday in a week or so, as a 1st guitar. This 36 inch right handed blue guitar has a beautiful deep and rich colour finished with a high gloss. It is a solid wood that has the strength to it to handle some drops and bumps a 9 yr old will undoubtedly give it when learning. I've checked it over looking for the issues stated in some the other reviews and did find a small run in the finish which won't be seen unless you are looking for it and honestly for the price I paid I am ok with this small imperfection. This comes with a gig bag, spare set of strings, digital tuner, strap, pick and cleaning cloth, everything needed to start playing right out of the box. As long as you don't expect the quality you would get from the more expensive Martin, Fender or Yamaha etc you won't be disappointed. Remember the price of this guitar and keep expectations accordingly and you will have a decent beginner guitar. It does have nylon strings which are easier on the fingers especially before fingers get toughened up. Being so expect the strings to require more frequent tuning as they stretch and settle in, that's normal. It doesn't come tuned just as with expensive guitars, it is not good to store or stalk in stores with strings tuned as this puts alot of pressure on the guitar's neck and can cause some bowing so yes it is out of tune when you get it. So yes I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box this guitar came in..For the price I payed this is a nice guitar for a beginner. At this point should I need to purchase a beginner guitar for another child, I will be back to purchase this one again. If I find things are different once she starts playing with the guitar, I will come back and add to this review.
