Love the look and performance of this toaster. The bagel setting is a nice bonus. It toasts a bread slice on both sides, which my previous toaster did not. Highly recommend. I have several Cuisinart appliances and they all perform beautifully.

The first thing we did before using it was blowtorching it with an air gun to remove dust. I put it in toast mode but without bread to burn, dust, or any other material, and if it smelled something like it was a new product, after a few minutes and when the new smell disappeared, we put the first slices of bread, in the 1-2 setting the toast was light brown I changed the setting to 3-4. The result was perfect; I like a medium brown tone, and the toasted bread was delicious. To be honest, I am a little disappointed with this toaster. It's $10-$20 more expensive than some other brands, and I expected it to be better quality. The plastic knob that adjusts the browness of the toast is loose and sloppy. It gets the job done, but for how long, I will have to wait and see.

This toaster was very disappointing. My mom mentioned she needed a new one, so I suggested this model, assuming Cuisinart's reputation for quality and liking its reheat feature. I ended up buying the same one the following week, but it was a huge letdown. We both noticed similar issues: you need to press the lever multiple times to keep the toast down, which is absurd, and it toasts unevenly. The knob feels cheap and loose, making it feel unreliable while using it. I returned my unit, but my mom is stuck with hers since they were out of town for a memorial and missed the 30-day return window. When I visited her this week and made toast, I had to push the lever four times to keep the bread down, so frustrating. I expected much more from Cuisinart.

A very nice toaster with a traditional look. I’ll be keeping this one! Although not as heavy as toasters in the past, it still has a sturdy enough feel. I don’t expect perfection with how it may toast bread (evenness) etc., so I’m sure it’ll be just fine for me - I’m okay with a little unevenness!

I like the function of this toaster. I was not interested in a toaster with all the electronic bells and whistles that requires a bachelors degree in computer technology to operate. I want simple. This is simple. There are some preset buttons that can quickly set the toaster for things like "reheat" "defrost" and "bagel" (whatever that is), and I do use those presents often. There are two things I do not like about this toaster. The stainless finish is notorious for showing fingerprints. I deeply wish I would not have chosen that finish. Second, the electric cord they installed is very stiff plastic and has a stubborn mind and shape of its own. I know the manufacturer loves to cut corners to save a few cents, but this obstinately stiff cord will never relax. Come one, Cuisinart! Put a nice flexible cord on there and charge the customer $1 more rather than resorting to the bottom of the barrel options. It cheapens your product.

I bought this because it's metal and all the other ones are plastic. I love it. It does a good job and looks great on my counter.

Me gustó mucho el modelo ese, pero el botón para el nivel de tostado del pan se mueve muy fácilmente y de repente me sale el pan negro porque se movió el botón.
