UPDATE retracted my 4 star review to 3 stars. The birds do not like the whole plastic one, they only go for the open feeder. I'm now going to shop at Home Bargains for my bird supplies as it's so much cheaper than Amazon.

As far as bird feeders go I a, not really well qualified in what ones are for what birds. I have friends that say you need different sorts of feeders and then different sorts of birds visit! Anyway, my first impression was that the feeders were a little flimsy. The photograph shows just one of them, the feeder in the foreground is from this set. They were easy to fill up, and despite being flimsy they are doing the job. So I shall not complain, they serve their purpose and I have seen some blue tits flitting around the, as well as some starlings.

Very flimsy plastic, not sure how long they will last, not good value for money

Birds are happy with it. The perch is small enough for the blue tits and robins - too small for larger birds., It's not THE most sturdy if you get A LOT of winds or impact, but fine if it stays up high.

The plastic one came well packaged. The mesh one came all twisted and we couldn't bend it back into shape so couldn't use it.
