I'm a natural blonde, but my hair has become a few shades darker as I've gotten older. From time to time I get highlights at the salon to bring back a little more blonde. Keeping that color looking the way I want between appointments is where this mask comes in. My hairstylist recommended trying a purple mask, and although I've tried several brands, I keep coming back to this one. The point of the purple is to counteract unwanted yellow tones, not preserve them. Violet sits opposite yellow on the color wheel, so depositing a little violet pigment helps the blonde look less brassy and more balanced. It's toning the color that's already there rather than bleaching the hair lighter. That is an important distinction if you're new to these products. I also appreciate that this is a conditioning treatment, not just a toner. The formula includes hydrolyzed keratin, glycerin, conditioning silicone, and oils such as argan and jojoba. The conditioning ingredients help soften and smooth the hair, while the pigment handles the color correction. That combination is what appeals to me: maintaining my highlights while getting the deep conditioning I want. For me, it works well and represents a good value. I've had enough experience with other purple masks to know that I don't need to keep switching just for the sake of trying something different. This one does what I'm looking for and has become a repeat purchase. Easy five stars.

I love this for toning my blonde. It’s easy to apply, smells amazing, and really hydrates my blonde hair adding shine and toning really nicely. It’s more affordable than most other products I’ve researched and very effective.

By far THE best purple blue mask I have ever used. I have difficult hair that seems to hold on to brassy and orange hues like a magnet. This toner works exceptionally well and conditions at the same time. Highly recommend for stubborn hair that other Violet products don’t work on, try it!

It does work well to eliminate yellowing but it will turn your hair light purple even with a good rinse and it will continue to be light purple in some spots even after washing it.

Ok this stuff is great. It doesn't make a huge change in the brass but a moderate change so it is effective and it is so nourishing, my hair is so so so soft now. I'll definitely buy this again.

Mind your hair type. I have a soft black natural hair color. I bleached it volume 30 for 20-30 minutes to get that coveted, coppery orange color. Jump scare. I dyed it an ash brown to neutralize it but it didn’t work. I tried this product and it didn’t work. I would say my color is too dark of a copper to be fixed with anything other than a redo. This product smells nice but I can’t say it made my hair softer. I’m sure it works well for lighter situations. It’s very messy though so watch how you apply it and either work really fast or wear gloves to avoid dying your hands.

Product is great! I've recommended to friends letting their natural gray hair grow. Leaves hair feeling soft and fuller. One word of caution; it is VERY pigmented. Do not leave on longer than recommended. (ha-ha) Only use once a week or so to brighten the silver and shine.

This is the best purple hair mask that I’ve ever tried. Works better than any purple shampoo I’ve tried.

J'avais des reflets oranges vraiment bien visibles et j'avais essayé une autre marque de masque violet qui fonctionnait mais pas beaucoup et surtout les cheveux n'était pas doux non plus. J'ai donc voulu essayer celui-ci et je ne regrette absolument pas : mon orange est partie et mes cheveux sont beaucoup plus soyeux. Par contre attention j'ai laissé poser 15 à 17 min au lieu de 10min max. Le prochain soin me permettra de retirer les quelques reflets jaunes qui restent encore. Pour l'entretien de la couleur, je n'hésiterai pas reprendre ce masque et vous le recommande vivement. En espérant que mon commentaire vous sera utile

Die Maske ist super ! Sehr pikmentiert, entwirrend, duftet gut, sehr ergiebig und vor allem wirkungsvoll gegen gelbstich. Meine Haare waren danach wunderschön gepflegt, glänzend und kühl im Farbton. Bin sehr sehr zufrieden !
