BANILA COVV Vitalizing Eye Cream, puffy eyes, eye bags, dark circles, anti aging

My under eyes don't really get puffy but they definitely get darker when my anemia is getting bad but this really made a difference in the darkness and made my eyes look a bit brighter. It takes a while to get results though so it's one of those things you really have to stick with in order to see results, I say it took about a month for me to see real results and I was putting this on every morning and every evening.

This is a rich eye cream that does seem moisturizing and helps plump up the skin around my eyes and gives a firmer look, at lest temporarily. It doesn't seem to have any scent at all, as far as I can tell, although it does have fragrance added. The off-white cream is fairly thick, but doesn't feel heavy. It goes on easily enough -- I try to be careful of the eye area and I dot this on and gently pat it in place. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave an oily look or feel although it does feel a bit tacky for a while. The tube is small and the opening is tiny, as is often the case with eye creams. It is easy to squeeze out just the amount I need. I only need to use a very small amount for good coverage. The product description recommends using a dime-sized dollop each morning and night which is about ten times more than I actually use. I also only use this during the day. The tube certainly wouldn't last very long if I used that much, and I don't think even my dry skin would be able to absorb that much of this cream. I have sensitive skin, so I did a patch test on my arm before using it, and the first time I tried it on the eye area, I used just a smidgeon of the cream. I do feel just a bit of a tingle at first but it goes away quickly and there is no irritation or other effects. I was annoyed that the full ingredient list was not shown in the product description so I went to the brand's website and I have to say it is definitely an exhaustive list, with several ingredients I like as well as some I would rather not have in my skin care products; most of the plant oils and extracts near the bottom. I would definitely recommend checking it out before ordering this eye cream if new to the brand. The tube contains 0.67 ounces of the cream (20 mL) and the current price is $30.00 which seems a bit high to me. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and while I like it, it isn't much different from other eye creams I have tried and it hasn't really done enough to earn a place in the regular skin care routine. The tube is a bright cheerful red, and the cream arrived nicely boxed.

I don't have puffy eyes but I have dark circles that I don't know what to do with. I don't see any big difference from trying this eye cream, as far as my dark circles is concerned. I do agree that it is definitely moisturizing. Although it says to apply morning and night, I only apply mine at night because I've found that the ultra-moisturizing effect spreads down to the the sides of my nose, making me more oily than ever-- and that's with using a pea size amount for both eyes. True to claim, this eye cream is gentle for sensitive skin. Last night, I accidentally rubbed my eyes after putting the cream and I thought it would sting for sure, but it really didn't. At this point, I've been using this cream for 2 weeks now and I've only seen how moisturizing it is. I will keep using it and update about my dark circles. :)

I've always used the Aveda Botanical Kinetics Energizing Eye Cream in the past, which retails for around $38, and I would say that this eye cream is very comparable to it. It's great for calming my sometimes puffy undereyes in the morning, and doesn't irritate my somewhat sensitive skin.

I’ve been using this for a little while and I swear I can’t tell that it’s done a single thing for me. I wasted time with yet another promising product.
