Original Gear Tie, Reusable Rubber Twist Tie

I absolutely love these ties. They're handy for so many things. The large ones are especially great for organizing my garden hoses. They're super durable and seemingly infinitely reusable. I've been buying these things for years and have never seen one break.

There's an abundance of incredibly long, nasty, gross but perfectly functional and (theoretically) useful extension cords in the garage that the guys in my house refuse to part with. These items have been driving me crazy for years! I finally discovered a method to store them vertically (Elfa Easy Hang Tracks with Accessory Hooks- LOVE LOVE LOVE); however, there was the enduring issue of keeping them shaped in a way that makes them "hangable." (Both in terms of function and my obsessive need to make them appear pretty.) I tried multiple methods, including assorted ropes, wires, and Velcro straps (I do NOT recommend these for multiple reasons) until I stumbled across silicone ties. Initially, I used shorter ones (as I happened to have 6" ties on hand). They worked GREAT, but it required 4-6 ties for the longest cables. I'm really grateful to have discovered these.... The 18" length is absolutely PERFECT for these industrial sized cords! As long as I wrap them well to start with, just 2 of these babies keeps the cords well shaped. They don't tangle on themselves, they're easy to reshape, and this size provides a nice, strong grip! Additionally, I spent quite some time searching for the best prices for the highest quality ties and believe that these are the best bang for the buck. (I paid $11 and some change for a pack of 6, multicolored 18"). In case you're looking at my pics and trying to figure out what the hell is going on... I still have a few Velcro straps on the bigger cords. Not that they're really serving any purpose, I just haven't taken them off yet.

These cable ties have saved my life. I'm obsessed with organization, and I use these around the home and my home office. I've tried everything and I have to admit the Velcro ones annoy the crap out of me. I eventually ended up using the black zip cable ties for a long time, but they would annoy my husband because he likes to move our electronic things and they always got in the way. So he'd cut them. I'd replace them. He'd cut them. I'd replace them. Vicious cycle, let me tell you. So when I stumbled on these ties, I was curious how well they would work. And they are incredible. Definitely worth the price. I'll update this review when I actually have one break or "go bad" on me--but I've been using them for about 6 months now, and zero problems no matter how much I reuse/refold them. PROS - I love how they are reusable. As I mentioned, we constantly take them off and put them back on--or move them to new cords and they still work like new. - I'm in the process of moving, and these helped immensely when I had to throw all my cords in a box. I tied them with the cable and then labeled them with a label. - These are great with storage: I have so many cables for home and my work that are often just stored until I need them. They keep my storage box full of cables neat and organized (I've attached cute labels to make sure I always remember what every cable is), and make it quick and convenient when I need to grab a cable and throw it in my backpack to go. - I've loved taking these on travel. Whether I use an electronic tote bag or a plastic baggie (depending on the length of my trip), these have been super convenient from keeping my cords turning into a jumbled mess. I can also pull them out and use the cable with the twist tie or keep the twist tie in the bag and use it when I return the cable. - Because they make these in different lengths - I prefer the black ones, because then they just blend into the cables themselves - they work great for keep TV cables and media cables together to hide behind a wall panel or behind coiled neatly behind the TV. CONS None so far

Exactly as described and the genuine items. Vibrant colors,the packaging is reusable, length is perfect for what I need it for, and they obviously easy to use even if you never used them.

These work well. From using a lot of these, the three inch length is somewhat limited for a lot of applications. 3.5 or 4 would be more practical and fit better. I know they offer other sizes or combos but not as cost effective. I end up using a lot of longer, Velcro style and they are cheaper.

I use these ties for EVERYTHING! Fishing rods, wires, staves, etc. used to use “hook & loop” ties and switched to these. Much more versatile, reusable, and they don’t get as dirty. If they do, a quick wipe with a damp rag & they’re good as new. More durable too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I use these to help me strap whatever pack I take with me on my motorcycle sissy bar. I'm sure there are other uses I haven't come up with yet. So far they have worked well for me.

I have purchased these in the past and now that I’m organizing my office and devices again I went looking for these specifically again and it was hard to find them, especially in black. These are really sturdy and well made. They twist around a pair of corded headphones well or really any cords and keep them wrapped securely without any worry that they’ll come loose. I highly recommend these to anyone

Brilliant. Endlessly reusable wire ties for electronics cables. Make sure to order the larger ones, they're much easier to use and more versatile.
