my "alignment tool" is out of alignment. Ha, ha, ah
Well I guess can squeak it to five stars . . . but . . . my alignment tool came bent. Kind of ironic . . . my "alignment tool" is out of alignment. Ha, ha, ah. Not bad; just a slight amount near the tip. I'm a metal worker, I can straighten it, if I have to . . . I guess. Strange though because it came in a nice protective plastic tube with a decent reusable end cap. Over all it is a nicely made tool and just what I need. Can't complain about the price, Shipped super fast. UPDATE :This tool is made out of good strong steel. I straightened the slight bend near the tip. Though the tip is thin (1/16 inch) it was very tuff and resistant to bending / straightening. It took many tries to get it to straighten and finally when I was able to get it to respond it did not snap in two. In other words it is heat treated correctly; hard and strong but not brittle.

The perfect size line up pin for TDC and TDF and ductmate ductwork. Makes the corners line up for bolt instalation with light effort. Great leverage. The perfect tool for that task. The tool will last forever. Or until someone borrows it and forgets to give it back anyway.

Strong metal but rusts easily
I have these drift pins in a non-air conditioned garage and they already have rust on them. Its only been 2 weeks.
