This is a great kit for “young scientists” learning about basic circuits. We purchased this set to support a class science project and it didn’t fail. Easy to set up and all of the components worked right out of the box. The only thing I wish the set had was a stand to hold the fan motors. Otherwise, great starter set!

Easy plug and play with the motors and fans. The battery packs were mostly fine but after a couple minutes they got hot and the rubber boiled on the wiring ends. Great value for the motors but be careful with the battery packs around children, burnt my hand trying to stop the pack from catching fire.

Fun and easy to put together. Using it for my daughters science project on electrical circuits. She was very engaged and had fun putting it together !

Light bulbs, blew very easily.

This is a perfect toy: you can do practically anything you want with it, and it occasionally surprises you by doing something. If you ask me, that’s how real learning works. Eventually, maybe, my grandson will see which combinations will make the motor spin, or the light work. But there were scant instructions, so there is no ‘right’ way to build anything. It seemed pretty safe, and it was cheap enough that it’s no big deal when the pieces get lost (which they surely will). Get this!

The parts are very small. The gauge of the wire is very fine and difficult to use. The motor holder did not seem to work well--how is the motor supposed to sit to add a set of blades? The motor connectors were tiny and difficult to connect with the wire or alligator clips. The alligaor clips were not easy to use and not functional for a 6-year old to use. Extremely disappointed when I opened the box and tried to set up a display. Very, very low quality product. All items fit into a box 4 x 5 x 2 (inches). I was hoping that 6-year old could explore electricity with this but I found it difficult to make things work. Do not buy. Buy a higher quality product.

Was a huge hit with my after-school program. Hands on learning !!

Fantastic stem toy which encourages my kid to use his imagination and creativity. So far he’s made a propeller propelled car . Home made hand fan and working on sticking card board wings to a cardboard tube with 2 dc motors to make a roller plane

Not at all what seen in image( I wanted this for school project worth my grade and a buzzer was needed)I want a refund
