Tramontina Stainless Steel Stock Pot 28cm (11.4l)

After purchasing a different brand and receiving a cooking pot that was a manufacturing nightmare with a 5 mm warped base, I tried this Tramontina 62125/280 Solar Silicone 28 cm Stock Pot for not much more money!What a difference! This pot is great, no manufacturing defects, and has a perfectly flat base to make full contact with the cooking hob, has a 3-ply wall construction, so stainless steel inner lining + middle core of Aluminum to transfer and spread the heat + outer layer of polished stainless steel for ease of cleaning and looks!It is as per the description, except for this line, "It also features a lid with a steam vent that fits perfectly" My cooking pot did not have this steam vent feature of a hole in the glass lid, so maybe that applies to another pot or changed specification!Summed up as a great looking, practical, cavernous, well made, thoughtful silicone insulated handled, mega pot, for those times when you need to cook to feed an army or boil a ham!Very pleased with this purchase of a great cooking pot that is also excellent value for the money.

Wanted a large , sturdy pot and this fits the bill. Glass lid is convenient. The rubber grips on handles on pot and lid would not be suitable for using in the oven but for cooking on the hob they serve their purpose very well. Very pleased.

Perfect size for cooking and excellent quality.

Heavy base but not too heavy to lift. Handles really do stay cool while in use.Very good quality and very satisfied with it.One of those utensils which will last a lifetime.

I have used this once, for making marmalade. At no point did the mixture seem to be in danger of sticking to the bottom of the pan - because the base is thick and the heat distribution is good. It sits perfectly flat on the flat glass surface of the cooker. The handles are easy to hold and are comfortable. So far, all-round excellent.

This pot seems like good quality. Perfect size for boiling my Christmas ham. I haven't used it yet but I am very happy with my purchase.It arrived in good time and was well packaged. I would love to get a similar set of tramontina solar saucepansto match this one for everyday use.

This pot has been great for big batch cooking. I spent ages going through the reviews on bigger pots and settled on this one, and I've not been disappointed. It's a large pot on the hob but perfect for making big amounts of curry/lasagne mix/etc

It is big, sturdy - very good quality and design.
