Living Lane Set of 4 Solar LED Garden Lights

The Set of 4 Solar LED Garden Lights by Living Lane work very well around my garden shed. The LED lights are solar powered and when fully charged last about 7 hours. It takes about 4 hours, in full sunlight, to charge completely. The clear acrylic looks like crystal. The top seems to be made of a heavy plastic with a silver finish. The fluted base below the acrylic is a thin metal, maybe aluminum, as is the cylinder rod. The stake is a solid black plastic and wasn't flimsy when pushing it into the ground. The Solar lights are also very easy to install. Each light comes disassembled in 3 pieces, but are very easy to push together. It took me less than 5 minutes to put all 4 lights together and place into the ground around my shed. From the bottom of the silver colored metal stake to the top of the silver colored heavy plastic top is a little over 9 inches. This is NOT including the black stake that can't be seen after placing into the ground.I did receive the Living Lane Set of 4 Solar LED Garden Lights at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased review.

The media could not be loaded.  Set of 4 Solar Led Garden Lights - I was a bit disappointed with the product. When i first got them and put them together, i felt they were cheaply made. They are made out of a light metal, possibly aluminium, the bottom base is the only thing i feel that was sturdy due to the sturdy black plastic, the light part is made out of a light acrylic light base with a thin piece of metal under it. I turned all 4 lights on and put them out in the sun for the rest of the day till it got dark and only 2 of them worked. So, i tried fixing them, looking for a battery and couldn’t find where the battery went. Ya they came with instruction, but it doesn't tell you where the batteries go. Very disappointing.The metal on the base is silver. The dimensions are 5.1x2x5.1 inches. They are not as bright as m,y other solar powered lights, are very dim. I would not purchase theses again.Disclaimer: I received this product for a full charge for my honest opinion and unbiased review

First the good news. These LED lights are really well made. The clear plastic shield fits well with the top of the unit making a better moisture seal than I've seen with other brands. The light seems bright enough and lasts several hours. Now the bad news. Two of the four units I was send change colors every 5-10 seconds, from chartreuse green to crimson red to cobalt blue....very pretty actually but not what I ordered, nor do I recall ever seeing an LED that changed colors this way.... a manufacturing mistake?...a bored Chinese assembly worker who wanted to brighten my life?...who knows?...some things are not worth getting upset about.04/28/2016 ADDENDUM: One of the lights failed a few days ago. I replaced the defective Ni-Mh AAA battery with a new one, which did require some dexterity to do, and the unit is now fine. I'm reducing my rating from four stars to three.

Our back porch light is broken and "Mr. Honey-do" hasn't gotten around to fix it - so this is my fix for our dark pathway in our back yard. Works pretty well, although one of the lights didn't always shine so brightly - it's been better since it's had a few days to charge up. . They look pretty when they are "on" - the way the light goes through the plastic lamps make kind of a "star shape" on the ground. I'm wondering how sturdy they will be if the hose gets pulled around them when he waters the gardens - That being said, I will probably get another set to further lighten up the steps.

I like these lights and they seem to work well, but of the four I received, one does not work at all. I thought it was the position it was in and the shorter winter days, but when I moved it it remained unlit. The other three are fine. They have a nice light that lasts. But for the price, I would have liked all the lights to work. It doesn't seem easy to replace the battery, so I have no way of seeing if that is the issue.

I ordered these after reading various reviews of how they have a great look to them, their metal construction and their bright led. These features appealed to what I was looking for so I went ahead and ordered two sets. Amazon Prime is always top notch, and the items arrived in two days. Opened up the package, read the included instruction booklet, set the lights up, turned on the switches as instructed and placed them outside to charge the following day. It has been a few days now, and very disappointing. Out of the 8 lights I received, only 3 are working, as it seems the rest have either a bad cell or a bad led connection. While they do have a very nice look them, if they don't function they are nothing more than a lawn ornament.

I received these and they are beautiful. One has quit working after a couple of weeks. I haven't had time to try and change the battery to see if that will fix it, I really shouldn't have to do that but I guess that will be easier than returning it.

First day, with little sun exposure, lights came on and lasted until next morning. Still going strong at 4:00AM. There is even a street light across the street.Best solar light I have come across.I bought some at Home Depot and they lasted for two and one half hours at best. I took those cheap ones back to Home Depot.Its bad enough that Home Depot no longer gives a discount to ALL veterans, now they sell inferior products also.These solar light from Amazon are far superior to any other solar light that I have seen.Five Star well earned.
