Q: How do you keep the cut ends from popping through the material and sticking you?

You’ll have to sew boa binding tape oe another fabric to the ends.

Q: would it work well with a heavier fabric?

Yes! I sewed this to an upholstery weight jacquard.

Q: Can you breathe through the mesh?

I use it in my 3D masks to keep the fabric away from my mouth and haven’t had any problem breathing. The weave has lots of space between the polyester threads.

Q: Can this be used to stiffen the header on drapes?

Yes- as long as you aren’t putting holes in the header
