Is this product perfect? No. But it is the ONLY one of its kind for all we can tell. We searched far and wide for an AUTOMATIC bouncer and there was NOTHING. Even products that say in the title something like bouncer and automatic turn out to be automatic SWINGS where you can convert them into bouncers, but then you have to bounce them with your foot. This was the only bouncer we found that actually bounces on its own. Our baby, like so many, hates to be put down and has trouble falling asleep when he's not held or bounced. In this bouncer, he is actually calm and able to fall asleep. And all while I am not tethered to him and can do laundry or something. As others have noted, even on the high setting, the bouncing motion is very minimal. However, it's still enough to keep him calm and happy or asleep most of the time. Plus, you can still use your hand or foot to initially bounce a bit more vigorously and then transition to the smaller bounce as baby quiets down. I should add it's generally not recommended to let babies sleep in a bouncer, but, first off, you can still use it to get baby to fall asleep and then transition to a flat surface like a bassinet. And let's be honest: when you're in the thick of the newborn trenches trying to keep your sanity, it's not always feasible to follow all the official guidelines. We, for one, feel pretty comfortable letting him nap in this bouncer under our supervision where we can check on his breathing and such. But now that he's older he also just loves being in this thing when he's awake. He will happily bounce in it for 30 minutes or so at a time and keep himself entertained. Why the bouncer isn't perfect: it shuts itself off after 30 minutes and there's no way to change this setting. The arch with the little hanging animals is prone to falling off. That being said, now that our baby is a bit older he has totally fallen in love with the little owl and lion. He stares at them, smiles at them, and "talks" to them. The motor stopped working after only a month of use. However, Amazon gave us a full refund and we were able to order a replacement, so no big deal. The buttons on this thing are terrible and half the time you can't tell if you actually pressed them. Again, not a big deal, though, just means you have to look at the lights to confirm whether it's on or off. Final note: the music on this thing is actually pleasant. Many baby swings and such have music that is pretty annoying, but we actually enjoy the music that's programmed in here.

Fairly easy to assemble. I like that it's battery operated so it's portable. Ingenuity products are always so much cuter than a lot of other typical baby products. I also like the cushion that comes in it. Very soft and comfortable for baby. The recline is not adjustable but that was not a deal breaker for me. My only complaint is that I wish the bounce on the automatic mechanism was a little stronger. Additionally, when you press the volume button to turn on the sound it makes a beep noise which could wake up your baby. So we didn't use it. Other than that, it fit our needs and is pretty worth it.

Wish it bounced a little more, but it’s getting the job done! I’m happy with it

Bought this because my baby has been fussy and never wants to be put down when sleeping. I set it up soon as I got it and baby went to sleep easily and loves it already. Hopefully battery life is good that’s my only concern.

The music device on the back does jiggle when you bounce it and it makes a lot of noise but you can take it off and it still works great and if nice and soft

Love this bouncer its the only one I know of that is pretty much self bouncing with out being super expensive and over done. Its simple the only complaints I have is the activity bar is easily (i mean really easily) knocked off and the controller box that ours came with has a few surface blemishes and I wish there was more then 2 color options. We had this same bouncer 8 years ago and loved it the key thing about the auto bounce is to give it a manual bounce to start and it will bounce with out delay unless the batteries are running low. The video is with a 8lb baby on setting 2 for bouncing.

We have one from 2020 and it works fantastic. Got one for upstairs in our house and the new ones have very poor production. Piece that connects the bottom was not made to fit. The toy bar does not stay on, which others noted. But it also was made backwards. So if we want the animas to face the baby it has to be added on backwards and only pulls forward and then falls off. The main problem is the lack of movement or “bounce”. Even on the stronger setting it barely moves when my baby (8lbs) was in it. Unfortunately did not keep box and can not return. The fabric is also very slippery and baby slides down easily, especially with infant cushion insert. Just disappointed all around.

Love ingenuity products. This automatically bounces with push of a button. Great price

Diese Babyschaukel hab ich schon zum zweiten mal bestellt .... was ich an der Schaukel liebe das man den Bezug auf Schonwäsche super gut waschen kann... zusätzlich ist diese Schaukel auch nicht so überteuert wie andere die weit aus über 200 Euro kosten können.
