Not as large as expected but still more useful and effective than the other two clippers I ordered in the weeks before.

There literally dozens of this type of clipper to choose from. They all say the same things, so it's difficult choose. The photo of these showed the cutters to have a great finish on them, versus the others and it said they were hardened as well. I bought them and they work fantastically! Better than I thought they would. So a couple words of caution for those they are considering these clippers; 1) BE CAREFUL! They are seriously sharp and will pieces of your toe off before you can readjust your position. 2) They are hardened carbon steel, the will rust if you get water on them. keep some mineral oil or something on them if they get wet. 3) Make certain they are in the place you want to cut, go slow and carefully, they have no mercy. Great purchase, I would buy them again.

I have purchased and returned and lost money purchasing nail clippers! Too many to count! These are the best! I was able to clip a nail that was so thick I felt my next step was going to be using my dog’s toe nail clippers! It took one try and the nail was clipped and second clip was just to clip a little more! So excited as it trimmed a nail that was excessively thick! Thank you! Definitely recommend! Like the plastic cover for the clipper for storing! Worth purchasing! Just wish I would of found them to purchase a few years ago!

Love these, use them for people with thick nails all the time. The cap has disappeared into the void. Can I get a new cap somehow? I reached out to the manufacturer and they are sending me a new cap. Fantastic nippers and great customer service.

Had to use these a while before I could write a decent review & here it is. These clippers are great! Wish I'd found them years ago. I do NOT have a medical condition that causes thick toenails, I just have always had very hard nails (fingernails too. It's genetic) These clippers are so much easier to use than regular thumb-press type clippers, & do a much better job of getting the top sides of the nail. I have a problem with the top side edge of my nails tending to become ingrown if I don't keep up with them regularly. I always had great difficulty clipping those side tops with regular straight clippers, so they would become ingrown. These clippers solved that problem. It's very simple to reach that top edge with these so no more ingrown top side edges for me! Plus, I've never accidently cut my skin with these as I did so often with those other straight clippers! That said, these clippers are curved, so it's super easy to clip the edge that goes with the curve, more difficult to get the opposite edge. Still possible, just not as simple or exact. These work so well though, I plan to buy another pair with the opposite direction curve just to make my task quicker & easier. As shown, these clippers aren't fancy. There's no padding on the handle, but none is needed. The steel is smooth, the fit is perfect & comfortable in my hand, & my hand has never once slipped on the instrument. Thus no padding needed. The blade cover is a nice solid, thick plastic that slides over the closed blades easily, fits perfectly, stays put & should last forever. The product was delivered within two days of my order & the seller was interested in hearing my opinion. I do recommend these clippers. They've been excellent for me. Hope this helps someone!

This product is nowhere as good as it is purported to be. I found the "long handles" to be too short to use effectively. At 15cm this is not long enough to use without problems. The width of the handles contributes to the difficulty in using these clippers on the nail of the big toe. The amount of pressure required to cut this toe-nail causes the handles to cut into the skin of my palm. I have been trying to find a set of clippers that are aboy 20cm long without success.

Used as toe nail clipper. At $60 no better than a usual $4 one. I have requested a return refund
