J.P. Morgan - The Life and Deals of America's Banker: Insight and Analysis into the Founder of Modern Finance and the American Banking System

For someone who knows nothing of today’s banking systems but knows JP Morgan is an immensely important human being, this book is a great summary of a true legend written in a fascinating way with great pace. There are no doubt more detailed works on this man and thanks to this book I have the desire to read them. Thank you for a great book!!

Interesting insight into how this Titan went about his business and how he became so powerful that governments sought his advice and help. Great book.

EXCELLENT BOOK

Nice and enjoyable book to read!

This book is a rather poorly written undergraduate essay, not worthy of the great man it tries, and largely fails to understand. My suspicion is that AI is to blame. A genuine scholar would do a much better job. To say it lacks detail is a considerable understatement, and there is little understanding of banking either. Nail Ferguson's epic on the House of Rothschild is in a different league, and the House of Morgan deserves at least as much. Don't waste your money.

Provides clear insight into the growth and development of a banking giant. As with any he had his faults and this book directly deals with them as well as his legendary strengths. A good read.

Poorly written, book does not offer any useful insights, just some facts (probably from Wikipedia) and opinionated assumptions. Not worth reading.
