motor speed controller
This controller was a surprise to me. The controller included a fwd/rev switch with center off position , a potentiometer to control the motor speed, and an LED display. Wasn't sure what the LED would display since it was not connected to any feedback from the motor shaft. It seems that the display indicates the percentage of drive to the motor. It is an electrical number that doesn't really indicated motor speed. Zero percent on the display indicates that the motor is off, 100% indicates that the full power of the controller is delivered to the motor. Very functional product and a good purchase for small motors. Recommended.

Burned up immediately, but cheap so i got another....
I got like 2 minutes of run time and it started clicking on and off. Unplugged and plugged in the battery and it just quit working. Took a closer look in the morning and noticed something burned out on the inside. It's pretty cheap and I already have the mounting figured out so I'll get another and see if this one works.....

Cheap and fragile. Worked right for 10 seconds
Test it out before you go cutting holes and mounting the display switch and knob. Im waiting on the second one maybe its a winner, probably not. Worked properly for a few seconds then quit stepping down the voltage. Same power going in and out.

Direction control is one reason I chose this motor controller
I am using this device to control a 1/2 horsepower 12V DC motor via a microcontroller. Consequently, I have removed the potentiometer, the direction switch, and the on/off switch, and replaced them with a digital potentiometer, two relays for direction, and one relay for on/off. It works very well after I discovered that there are no diodes across your 2 motor controller relay coils (to absorb the kickback voltage when the relay is de-energized). I used a couple of MBR735 diodes for this purpose, soldered to the bottom of your pc board, and now it works well. Before I realized the missing diodes, I blew out a couple of digital potentiometers. Overall, however, it as a very good product at a very reasonable price. DAB 9/28/2021

motor speed control
Very poor equality and it does overheat me personally, I would not buy this product again.

Minn kota 30lb 12v diy controller for kayak
Used this to run my kayak with a 30lb minn kota. Open the troller get rid off the switch and yellow and white wire. Hook black and red the leads that go to battery. Put those on the motor +/- terminals on controller. Put battery leads on the battery +/- terminals and your done.. customize your box for controller to your liking. Super easy project

using it to power a yak
I broke out the speed pot and the fwd/neu/reverse switch to a handheld, and keep this in the battery box to control the speed of a trolling motor for my kayak. I have this on a small motor but it works great no issues I can go all day on a 12v 6ah lifepo4 batt with one finger control. Keep that on the down low the man sez u are supposed to register a yak with even a rubber band motor f the man.

Wonderful!
This is a great little Speed Controller, I am using it for a vintage Wooden Rolling Massager that I bought that originally had an AC motor with only one speed, it made a world of difference being able to adjust the speed and direction of the drum. I am powering it with this nice 24 volt power supply and so far has been fantatic. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VRK86SP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I plan on using one for my drill press in the future, you can't go wrong at such a low price, the components seem to be good quality.
