Stalwart Portable Vacuum Base Vice with 360 Degree Swivel

This vice looks like a great little tool but it comes with no user guide or any type of instructions as to how you set it up. I can't get it to stay put! It keeps coming loose at the base and I have absolutely nothing to refer to as far as seeing what I'm doing wrong, if anything. This thing needs some type of instructions to it. I've never purchased ANYTHING before that was a type of tool or equipment of sorts that did not come with INSTRUCTIONS! I need a "VICES FOR DUMMIES" manual!

Sticking is the biggest problem, I have found the best surface is glass or a flat piece of 8x8 tile. It will not stick to wood or particle board. This does limit it's usefulness. I am using it to sharpen chainsaw chains and it works for that.

Ok I read the review on this one well I thought I read them. I got it and for sure thought it was 4 inches or biger well I was wrong it's less than 3 inches and for the life of me I can not get it to stick to any serfis from my iPad, washer dryer to my work bench. All in all no good.

This vacuum base vise is all that I wanted in a small vise for holding small parts. It's swivel base and rubber jaw covers make it useful for all small projects where one needs that third hand. Only down side is the rubber vacuum base slips off the base and needs care in placing it on a flat surface to ensure the vacuum works. Small inconvenience for the price.

This is a cheap China knock off junk vise, the base will not even hold any vacuum at all, even on glass. What a waste of time, materials and money this purchase was. It is going back because, what good is a vise that will just fall over? and now I am being required to PAY to send this junk back. I can't get the suction cup to stick to anything. I tried cleaning both the suction cup and surface. I also tried multiple surfaces including: glass, finished wood, and kitchen counter tops.Other than that the vise itself is nice. I really like the mechanisms used for loosening or tightening everything.

Multiple securing pivot points and decent suction on the base make this a great little vice. It can pretty much get into any position you need it. It also has sliders on the vice handles so no worries about it getting into difficult to turn positions. It does what you want in the simplest way possible and it does it well and doesn't cost much at all.

I received this product in damaged packaging from the seller. The product had obviously been opened before then returned. It was covered in dirt and dust and had scratches on it. The suction cup on bottom was so greasy and dirty that it doesn't really stick to the table. If I knew this product was used I wouldn't have paid so much for it.

Came broken. Luckily I was able to repair, but it would have been useless if I didn't have the parts on hand.
