I agree with all of the previous comments regarding this item. It is a stereotypical Chinese-manufactured device that should probably be done by Lexus itself. The concept is great. No sticking or magnets, just a simple cookie-cutter to insert around the Lexus clock and clip at the top and bottom of the dashboard. But it barely clips on and constantly falls off. There is also no release button to extract the phone. The Chinese language directions indicate that the phone slides down into the holder from the top (using “gravity”) and is extracted the same way. But you pretty much need both hands to leverage the phone out of the holder and risk displacing the entire holder every time. Also agree that the item is priced with Lexus owners in mind as it can’t cost more than $.15 to manufacture.

So the RX 350 is a difficult vehicle to place a phone holder into. The little covered holder near the armrest is just too small for anything. Most people don't or can't read the analog clock, so this would be a nice place to put a phone.But according to the Club Lexus forum the best mount has been the Koomus CD-Air Pro. This attaches to the CD slot and is the sturdiest and easiest to use. It sems to be back-ordered on Amazon, of course, but it is patented and trademarked becasue it has been so good.Just don't bother with this mount, it's just not worth the headaches.

Expensive for what you get... but simple installation and easy to put phone in and take phone out. you don't have to touch the mount when inserting your phone. I don't know how long this mount will last, but I like it so far.

It holds the phone in a nice position that allows for easy access while driving. However, it comes off the vent easily which can be annoying.

I purchased this with hoped that it would solve my problem with hands free driving. Unfortunately, I never made it that far. Once I received the item I noticed how cheap and flimsy the material was. I attempted to mount it as it stated it was an easy install. At this point, the edge of the mount broke. As I inspected the item I noticed in tiny print on the back "RX 300". So not only did the product easily break but they sent me the entirely wrong one.

this was easy to install with the directions.. have a little issue on the top left keeping it latched to the trim. but it seems to work ok.
