Red Hawaiian Ginger Alpinia Purpurata Roots and Plants Discount Hawaiian Gifts (1 Pack (2 Roots))

I am from the islands but living in Utah. I was so hopeful and missing these beautiful flowers that I grew up with. The ginger starts arrived in excellent condition, alive and healthy. I tried to grow these twice. When I failed the first time. I contacted the seller and asked if they would send me another shipment, and to the sellers credit, they sent me a second product without charging me. Alas, I didn’t have the time and attention to detail that these ginger transplants needed to survive survive. I have many tropicals growing in my home, perhaps I will give it another try in the future. I couldn’t give it the full star, because it would have been nice if they would have sprinkled some Hawaiian tropic fairy dust to make it easier to grow.

I received 2 little brown sticks approximately 2 inch in length. I planted them anyway. They did not grow. On one the brown stick just fell apart. The other brown stick is still there just dry. I am very unhappy and disappointed. I am not impressed with the ethics of your company. I should have read the reviews before I ordered. They type of plants you ship out are an example of the company you run. What a disappointment,

Nothing was happening with the first roots I received. I contacted the seller as it was almost 30 days and they immediately sent replacement which are green and starting to grow. Locally in Florida I have found full size plants for the same price of 2 roots. Sorry seller but I’m going with full size plants.

So far, so good. I actually received 3 plants and all are viable 1 month after planting.

can not get Red Ginger to grow .. they do not have much of any stem or roots i get everything else grows well have 3 pics of what I've bought ...GROWS !!! I'd pay more for more of a starter rooted plant

I have had this root for several weeks now. I am in Florida, and we have had a very mild winter, temperatures have been more like what can be found on a tropical mountain. Still waiting for something to happen- I planted it in augmented organic soil in the sun- sigh.

I know this plant very well, I grew up with them in my country, but I did order this and I got it on may 30, I don't see them growing right, it look like they are dwarf ginger, I hope I'm wrong.but in this case I have to wait
