JACO ElitePro Tire Pressure Gauge - 100 PSI

UPDATE: After a couple of years of light use my gauge malfunctioned. One day it would no longer zero and was off by 7-8 PSI. The good news is this: the "lifetime warranty" was honored and a replacement gauge was sent promptly. So, it's still a five star product based on the problem response. ==================================================================== This tire gauge is easy to seat on the schrader valve and easy to read whether on the valve or after you remove it.. The pressure reading "hold" function works well and the ability to use the release button to bleed excess pressure and instantly read the new pressure is very nice. Accurate adjustments to an over inflated tire are easy. The ribbed, protective shield is a nice extra both for ergonomics and protection of the gauge housing. I've used a fixed shaft Milton with a round gauge head for a number of years (like 25 years maybe). It also has a reading hold feature but no bleed down function. I've liked it very well for a long, long time but the calibration is less than perfect after so many years of use and the reading hold function doesn't always work now. I also have a digital gauge that fits motorcycle tire stems and an old school tire inflation type of gauge also from Milton. The Milton inflator has also been a really good tool but it's old now and is always 1.5-2 pounds low these days. Comparing what I know about all of my other gauges, the JACO seems to be very accurate on pressure. It's certainly easy to use and I'm very happy with the gauge. I hope it lasts as long as the Miltons.

This is by far the best tire gauge I have owned. It is incredibly accurate, and the fact that the head, and the hose swivel, make it very user-friendly. I keep it in my glove box of my truck.

It worked very well. The first time I used it and it probably works very well if I could find where I put it.

I'm going to start with 4 stars to begin with because I want to see how it holds up over time. Out of the box it looks and feels nice and compared to other gauges, is accurate. It does come with a lifetime warranty so if it does break, I can submit a claim. Definitely seems well made though and I expect it to work a lot better than the ones you pick up at the auto parts store. I personally like the analogue gauge, but for some it might be hard to read. They do have a digital one as well.

This has been my go to gauge for years. I prefer the old fashioned gauge with an arrow to check my tires because I worked as a mechanic many years ago. I bought this in 2021 and noticed recently the arrow was stuck at 8 lbs which would obviously throw off the pressure measurement inside the tire. Contacted the company through Amazon and after going back and forth a few times, sent a picture and they are shipping a new one at no charge. Can’t say enough about that and I don’t make reviews based on companies reputations and don’t make supported merchandise recommendations either. I would highly recommend this gauge for your tire tools. Very accurate gauge and not expensive.

Works great very accurate

My RV tires are rated at 65 PSI for the fronts and 80 PSI for the rear duals, and I was looking for a gauge in the 100 PSI range to accommodate this pressure rating. Many of the gauges I looked at were either 60 PSI or 160 PSI, and was happy to find this gauge rated for 100PSI from JACO. Many of the 160 PSI gauges were of good quality, but the larger range of reading meant it either read in 2 lb increments, or was just plain hard to read. That is where this JACO gauge shines - readings are very easy to see in the entire range, and the readings are in 1lb increments. But the real positive about this gauge is the quality of the build - when you first look at it and hold it in your hand, you realize you are paying a few extra dollars for additional build quality that is worth every penny. I am very pleased with both the operation of this gauge and the quality of materials used. Even better is how this JACO gauge performs - the tip is easy to use, and easy to lock straight on and tight to the valve stem. Then, the reading is fast and precise, and more importantly repeatable - I can remove and retest the pressure multiple times, and it consistently comes up with the exact same reading! Plus, the pressure release button is solid and firm, no slop in the mechanism, and the release of air is instantaneous. Nice job JACO, you are providing a great gauge for those of us who are tired of using mediocre gauges that don't last! Highly recommended! Thanks for reading. Bought as backup for small digital gauge, I never trust a single device when it comes to tyre pressures. The JACO ElitePro is solidly made and feels like a quality product. The "telltale" indicator is very handy in use too.

Excellent pressure guage , quick , easy to read gauge and accurate. I do summer / winter tire & wheel swaps on five xars twice a year and this is worth the $$ .
