Forbidden Games [DVD]

It's pretty evident what sort of film this is, from just the first 5 minutes. Little more than a vehicle for lots of sex and flesh, the ball gets rolling pretty quickly.The only reason I bought this film in the first place was because of Amy Weber. Amy is one of the more notable models (IMHO), and well worth the price of admission.Oh, you want plot? Not much there, I'm afraid.Jeff Griggs is the "Psychic Detective" (and not a very good one). While attempting to solve a murder mystery, beautiful women keep throwing themselves at his feet, for some unknown reason. He's quite amusing, with a style of speech that reminds me of a constipated Clint Eastwood.I dare not reveal the ending, except to say that it is quite (unintentionally) funny.

A good T & A movie.

What to say about this one? Weird premise finds our lead character as a private investigator with psychic abilities, a power that doesn't tip him off to the twist ending.The number of naked breasts is almost incalculable, but the sex scenes are somewhat benign; the one character who I figured would be the least-likely to show it all ended up with the hottest (and only full-frontal) scene in the movie. It certainly is worth viewing and might have saved this from a two-star review.The production values are fairly high, and the acting pretty strong when not being presented soap-opera style which actually is more often than not. But this movie is confusing as all get out, with so many different characters and intertwined storylines--also much like a soap opera. I couldn't follow along through most of it because every 10 minutes a new character was being introduced with little to no explanation of who the person is or what he/she means to the story.

Forbidden Games is a perfect example of a softcore film where you wonder what the point of making the thing ever was. The story is as boring and unoriginal as you can get. The acting is not anything to get excited about. The best thing I can say about the cinematography and sound editing is that there aren't any instances of glaring incompetance.But it's softcore, and all that stuff isn't supposed to matter, because we're all watching it for the great sex scenes. Right? But there are no great sex scenes! Sure it's got Amy Weber and some other attractive women, but what's the point if all they do is briefly pose for the camera and the "sex" could be more accurately described as "naked people hugging and kissing each other".This thing was made in 1995, when people were starting to figure out how softcore movies should really be done. This is not one of the movies that they figured it out with.Not recommended.

Simply not enough of Amy Weber in the film. In the scenes she was in she looked lovely, but I was hoping to see more. Anyone hoping to see Weber get down and dirty will be disappointed.

Shambles of an erotic thriller the sex scenes are virtually non existent and the story line is terrible i was very dissapointed with my purchase and encourage all to avoid this film.

This film doesn't have very much sex in it but other than that it is a good film.
