Christmas Scroll Saw Ornament Designs

Many great patterns for the Christmas holiday. I reduced the size of some of the ornaments, but that was because of the size i normally make. Well organized, great designs. Would recommend it for anyone who wants to make some ornaments for Christmas.

This is an awesome book filled with great scroll saw patterns. It is a most for anyone wanting to do scroll saw work. There are projects for the beginner and for the skilled.

Can't wait to use this book.

Basic patterns Some very nice

So so.

I have bought a lot of scroll saw pattern books over the years and this is simply the best The short introductory section does not skimp on imparting the essential information you need to produce excellent result and this is followed by page after page of seasonal inspired designs. although there are sections which favour the religious side of Christmas there are plenty of other sections that do not. The nice thing about her patterns is that they encourage skill development ranging from the simplest (but not childish) to the moderately demanding. I only have the slightest possible criticism in that the author mentions that she has used a number 2 blade to cut most of her designs. The best scroll saw blades available are made by Niqua or Flying Dutchman (possibly they are made in the same factory) and I'm blowed if I can find a #2 blade from these manufacturers - so I've used a 2/00, #1 and #3 reverse toothed blades and these have worked fine.

This book is a wonderful resource if you need patterns for Christmas ornaments. There are many to choose from and you have a photo gallery at the back of the book to see what the finished products look like.I would recommend this to anyone looking for scroll saw Christmas ornament patterns.
