Does Not Grind Pepper on Pepper Side !?
Great idea ours does not grind peppercorns on the pepper side? Course sea salt works on the salt side but I guess the little round peppercorn balls are too large to feed down into the pepper side to reach the pepper grinding wheel. I took it apart and no relief. We use "normal" peppercorns from Costco. Ceramic grinding wheels are nice and reasonable quality otherwise. For some reason I could not determine, pepper does grind on the salt side? Salt grinds OK in the pepper side. So, I taped a homemade "switched" label to match how it really works? I guess we will keep it.

A winning combination!
I have had a pepper mill before, but when it broke I never replaced it. When I saw this combination mill, I thought it might be a nice addition for my kitchen! When the mill arrived there were no directions, so I had to relearn how to use one by trial and error. I love that it is clear, so you can see how much you have in there -and it looks really nice. Filling it is easy- just unscrew the top and look for the S and P markings inside to fill each side with the correct spice. Then adjust the nuts on the bottom to get the desired grind- from fine to coarse. Turn the top of the mill to the right for salt grinding, left for pepper grinding- it doesn't get much easier! The mill works well with both the salt and the pepper and takes up less space on my countertop- a definite bonus! I purchased this product in exchange for providing my unbiased review.

Had for two months was working great. love the fact it was both salt and pepper grinder. It did take a little bit getting use to witch direction to grind salt or pepper. I have using to to gride salt when the salt side grinder fell apart and salt was going everywhere. I tried see if could put it back together but with no luck. How i am wondering how long it will be until the pepper side fall apart on me.

Good design, broke after about a month of lite use.
Worked great for about a month but then the entire mechanism that grinds the salt came apart and I had Himalayan Pink Sea Salt all over my plate. The pin that holds the shaft together came off. If I could take the device apart easily, I believe I could fix it but there seems to be no easy way to do that. So it went in the trash.

It looks great in my kitchen
It looks great in my kitchen. Easy to use and decent quality. My only complaint would be the pepper takes a long time to grind but so far it's still working. I would recommend it for the price.

The first one did not work, but the company was quick to send a replacement. The second works but because I have severe arthritis in my hands it is difficult for me to use this product and therefore I do not like it. Automatic grinders are better for me and are easier on my hands.

The salt side keeps clogging.
I love the idea of this grinder, and it looks good, but the salt side keeps clogging, no matter what the grinding setting is. I'm tired of messing with it, so I've since replaced it. My mom has the same grinder and is having the same problem.
