Scott’s books never disappoint.
I used to read a lot of books by Scott Cunningham back in the 90s. As I needed a refresher on certain subjects, I came back to his books. This book is another staple. It’s very useful for a beginner as well as someone who’s been doing this for a while. Scott’s books are easy to read and provide essential information. Definitely a must have in a practitioner’s library.

Great author
Love anything by Scott Cunningham. Ignore the negative reviews. There's to much hate in the world to be arguing over whose way is right or what's authentic. Scott's books are great especially for the new solitary witch. He covers everything you need to get started on your path. And, he explains it in really easy to understand language. He is the first pagan author I read over twenty years ago. I still have most of his books and continue to use them to this day.

A Gentle Approach to Wicca
I’ve read many of Scott Cunningham’s books, but “Living Wicca: A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner” really helped to solidify my understanding of this religion. I really like how the author takes the readers step-by-step—not just to introduce readers to the various subjects within Wicca (he did that in his prior book “Wicca”), but really explains them in simple terms. As always, I appreciate Cunningham’s ethics, as a practitioner and as a teacher of others; he’s honest and open. The way that he writes, the reader feels like (or, at least I did) that he’s talking directly to the person reading. Cunningham encourages people to continue studying and reading, but above all, experiencing the world fully. His approach to Wicca is truly a gentle one.

Fantastic book
I once read, so true, "No War Has Ever Been Waged In The Name of Wicca." I learned a lot by reading this book

It's kind of a sequel
to Cunningham's earlier work. He states as much in the book itself. This particular book is geared toward making Wicca a part of everyday life for the practitioner. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the lack of explanation of the significance of the pentacle. This is the central religious symbol of Wicca and is rich in mystic symbolism that Cunningham failed to address. Other than that, this is a great book for deepening a person's understanding of Wicca and forming a practice for the solitary practitioner, including building a solitary tradition.

Best guide book for solitary practitioners ever!
This was my first book on Wicca when I became interested in it, and its easy, approachable style made learning about this wonderful religion a real pleasure. I have re-read it several times over the years and always try to remember the author's respect and clear joy in his faith, as well as his reminders that humor and fun do not have to be checked at the door (something so lacking in a great many other religions these days). If you are interested in Wicca, but not necessarily in joining a coven, this is a great place to start.

Cunningham is amazing
I never got to read this book all the way through without a good portion of my collection being destroyed. I will say this though. Anything that Cunningham puts out, I love. Through his writing you can tell he is a very gentle and caring man who is passionate about the Craft. He never gets dogmatic and he never speaks down to the reader. He is your best friend and teacher from cover to cover. He always has been and always will be my favorite writer when it comes to the Craft. I wish I could have met him while he was still alive. Rest in peace my friend.

Hands down best book on Wicca!
Scott Cunningham is fantastic! This book is one of the very best on Wiccan practice. He gives the practitioner tons of useful advice, while also allowing them to have freedom of thought and express in their practice. He gives down to earth, practical information on Wicca, while keeping it lovingly magical. Very easy to read and to apply.
