Heavy Duty! But Beware of Beach Use!
Bought Red & Blue Set. The stakes as well as the shoes were super solid - heavy & really rugged. No paint chipping & the stakes stood up well. I honestly expect this set to last forever. Bought a cheap mallet at the H_Freight store & tossed it in the bag for driving stakes into the ground. There is more than enough room in the bag for it. The canvas bag is decent quality, but I think the pointed end of the stakes may eventually poke through, so I’m going go make some sort of caps for the stakes or reinforce the bag. A word about using this set on the beach: 1) if used in soft sand, the shoes literally bury themselves in the sand & are hard to find! We had to shuffle around in the sand & find them with our feet. It was crazy! That quickly got tedious. Glad I had the red & blue set - the gold & silver set would have blended in with the sand and made the shoes yet more invisible. Also, the stakes were hard to see for this reason - twice passers by almost tripped over them, so I am going to spray the top part of the stakes orange. So I definitely would not recommend the gold & silver set for beach use. In the future, I will only use my set on firm sand closer to the water, but away from rocks to save the paint. Other than the minor mods I need to make for the set, I still recommend it, as you may not be using your set as I am.

Deluxe Horseshoe Game!
This game is made of heavy steel and the quality is exceptional!! Comes with everything you need to set up and play. Highly recommend this set if you want good quality! Horseshoes are heavy so more of an adult set for sure.
