Do these work with new pimples that do not have a head yet?

Yes, even with a red bump, it will draw the infection out. Don't leave on too long, just until dot gets white.

do we pop the pimple then apply it or can we apply both back to back one after we pop it and another to cover from infections?

Hello Mamoun, Dots for Spots work best on spots that have come to a head (ready to pop), although they are a great way to stop the touching, picking, and squeezing of any type of spot. You can tell your dot is ready to be removed when the translucent centre has turned opaque white. We usually recommend a minimum of 6 hours for your dots to do their best work but every spot has a mind of its own so you may need to change it more or less frequently. Thank you!
